You're eating too much

>eating less than 1500 calories a day
>not losing weight

because your body is going into "starvation mode" because with so few calories it thinks you're starving so it tries to hold onto as much weight as possible

you're also walking way too much, your cortisol levels are probably elevated which is especially bad in starvation mode

try eating more and moving less

what's your TDEE? unless it's about 2000 cals you should have lost more weight than that assuming you are actually eating 1500 cals. chances are you're eating more than you think you are. don't purposefully not count calories of veg and fruit because "it doesn't have many calories anyway", it all adds up

an hour walk is only like 250 calories max though, why would he be going into starvation mode?

...

>eating less than 1500 calories a day

You're either a girl or lying to yourself and people on an anonymous Vietnamese calligraphy club support network forum.

>falling for the starvation mode meme

The calories are doable if you throw in a weekly refeed.

Poster is correct though about the walking. Any type of cardio on a drastic cut just puts too much stress on your body and slows your metabolism more. Lift heavy twice a week for 30 minutes.

Genetics mah dude. Only way to overcome it is lift hard to build muscle, while praying that you have good proportions. Otherwise I'd recommend running if you really want to shed pounds, just be wary of injuries.

Starvation mode does not exist, look at the Minnesota starvation experiment. A starvation response does exist but literally if your fucking Auschwitz mode.
The only thing that really happens at prolonged extreme caloric deficit is may be like ~10% reduction in metabolic rate, and metabolic rate drops as you become lighter anyway.
Also if protein is high enough, muscle loss should not be too bad and not as exaggerated as people think it is.

Please tell me more about it

There is no such thing as fucking starvation mode. Fucker didn't count his calories right.

This is bullshit. I eat max 1500 calories 5 days of the week, with a good amount protein. I also lift heavy those days, and run 3-5 miles a day for about 20 miles a week. Last week I lost 6 pounds, and I am maintaining my strength. This fucker is just doing something wrong.

What do you consider heavy ? And btw you don't feel sluggish ?

Heavy is relative to my 1Rmax. Right now I'm following Candito's intermediate program, a lower/upper split. My legs feel it obviously. On lower days I always lift first, then later run through any pain. I also give my body at least a 3 hour rest between lifts and runs, usually longer like like run morning/lift at night

Nobody said it would be easy you whiny faggot. It is simple. If it was easy everyone would have already been successful.

easy to understand
hard to do

>starvation mode
>not even starving
I don't even get the name

i lost 15 pounds, in 3 weeks, but i weighed like 250lbs

i have no proof other than personal anecdotal. I lost 20lbs by doing this exact thing, and I'm still dropping weight. And I know it's too early, I just have to say this.

Avacados and eggs and calciferous vegetables are miracle foods. They are cheap and satiate like nothing else. I also take supplemental vitamins until I get my eating 100% right. I'm eating no more than 1400-1700 cals. Making sure to hit nutrient macros/micros as best i can. No more than 20carbs. High fat, medium protein. 20 minute biking every other day. Also easy intermittent fasting because of my job. I can eat 2-3 meals in a 5-6 hour window and am completely satiated. I keep track of everything on myfitnesspal.

I read about cortisol/stress and all that shit too. I'm making sure to balance my nutrition, and get sleep, try to meditate/think positive/smile/laugh/breathe. And I truly think it's helping.

OP just needs to read more. I keep reading about nutrition everyday. I don't believe I will fail, because I have to do this. Gym is not my priority as much as losing weight and eating right for my body.

calciferous > cruciferous

got fucked my auto correct

>going on a casual walk
>thinking you're going to change your body in any significant way

is this bait? are you fucking serious right now? do you even know what sweating is?

jesus what do you weigh? height?

FACE FRAME HEIGHT

Fucking finally, thanks bro

You are working on the symptom, what would you worry about if you were not fat anymore?`Imagine that nightmare!

It's not a meme dude. Best way to lose weight is to just eat at regular maintenance while exercising enough to create a deficit.

>cutting from 13 to 10% bodyfat

sometimes I want to die

fuck this is hard, even with a consistent deficit

>taking weight loss advice from the same government that keeps shitty food cheap, healthy food expensive, is in bed with the drug companies that profit from obesity and has a vested interest in letting people die early so they dont have to pay out SS.

cuck

>tfw hungry but so lethargic that I don't feel like walking to the kitchen

feels ok man

Check your TDEE and eat 500 kcal less bro. Sub 1500 sounds a little extreme but, are you sure you aren't eating more than you think you are?

In a similar position, bro, I'm not really, like, lifting but I am trying to go trap mode. Lost like 10kg in three months doing this
>1800kcal (later 2000kcal when it got a bit much)
>walking two hours every day
>daily push ups/sit ups

For a while, I though I had angina, so losing weight was enough. Now I know it's stomach problems, I'm technically just being lazy by not doing more intense cardio/weight training. Overall, it's better to try and live a moderate life style than not at all, I suppose.

you aren't eating 1500 calories

Pretty much what said. People on this board are too obsessed with the "common sense" notion that if you go to an extreme on either end, it must be bad or not work.

When I was almost 300 pounds, I started going on 15 mile walks. That's what made me lose a lot of weight.

>calciferous

yeah my bad

If it was easy there wouldn't be so goddamned many fat people

>eating more or less the same amount of calories as before
>only dietary change is that I'm eating less crap (ie. nothing blatantly fattening, such as candy, ice cream, chocolate, pizza, soda, booze, etc.)
>will occasionally have "healthy" alternatives to junk food (ie. I've made my own burgers instead of just ordering fast food, and I straight-up ate baking chocolate instead of standard candy-type chocolate)
>again, the calories are (probably) the same
>only difference is maybe nutrition and food quality
>make no conscious effort to exercise
>lost 30 pounds in the last 6-8 weeks
I thought this shit would be harder.

Thank you very much my dude!

why is it so hard to lose this last bit of fat

fuck

im sticking with my diet but holy shit it's hard, I should just be like all these other faggots using clen but I want to be natty

Have you tried yohimbine?

not legal in canuckistan

>canuckistan
But you guys have ephedrine...

i'm in pretty much the same situation. was 220 lbs, dropped down to 175 pretty quickly but now i'm stuck at 180 ish. i do about 1600 calories on average per day and walk a mile or 2 every couple days. i count everything to the best of my ability. don't have a scale so i can't be 100% precise but i always calculate it so that if anything i overestimated the calories that i had that day. i'm dropping weight so slowly now it's crazy. maybe it's just because i lost 50 lbs in a relatively short amount of time. results have been fuckin awesome so far though so i'm gonna keep goin anyway

15 miles is not casual in any sense of the word.

keep at it my man

>>eating more or less the same amount of calories as before
>>again, the calories are (probably) the same
>>lost 30 pounds in the last 6-8 weeks

No. You lost weight because you ate fewer calories. Any effects of proper nutrition are fucking negligable and never in a million years will they add up to 30 pounds in 8 weeks.

Look up stories of dieticians losing weight by only eating fast food or junk food.

>having less than 1k cal deficit during the cut
>making it
choose one wisely senpai

Yep. I've been eating sub 500 calories a day for last two weeks, and "starvation mode" is nothing like people think it is. After a few days of almost no food, your body adjusts and behaves pretty much the same as normal. Popular wisdom about this subject is absolute ass.

Been eating well for a couple of weeks, feeling better already.

>Sleeping deep and well
>Springing out of bed
>Reading retention is markedly better
>More alert
>More confident
>Banging the ass in on wifey.

This was the funniest thing I've read in a while. 10/10. You got them good.

>try eating more and moving less
epic troll confirmed

15mile a day?

> eating over 3000 calories a day
> not gaining an ounce in years
> still looking good and organs functioning properly

Feels good to have normal genetics

if it was easy than there wouldn't be a fat acceptance movement.
