Starting strength is the best program that's ever been made and you're a fucking retard if you don't do it.
Ignore all the trolls telling you SS will turn you into a fat t-rex. They are all neckbeards from reddit and don't even lift.
Pic related is the guy who made SS. Do you trust him or katana-wielding autists from reddit?
Michael Campbell
I am feeling mixed levels of bait here
Jason Green
I know this is b8, but I actually agree.
I feel gslp is a little more balanced between upper and lower body.
Squatting until your thighs chafe together (even when lean) is no fun.
Brody Wood
No bait. Are a katana-wielder? Then pls go
Aaron Watson
>Its an SS is a good program shit post
Jonathan Perry
But that's young Jim Wendler not Rip
Mason Carter
No it's Doug Young.
Robert Flores
>Doug Young.
Bullshit. Everyone know's it's Arnold.
Aaron Martin
CMON that's a young Jason Blaha
Julian Bennett
No it is Ronnie Coleman you can tell from the heavy ass weights.
Isaiah Morgan
>Falling for the "SS isn't a meme" meme
Brody Hughes

Nathaniel Evans
>Falling for the "Falling for the 'SS isn't a meme' meme" meme
Brody Wilson
>Falling for the "Falling for the 'SS isn't a meme' meme' meme" meme.

>Squatting until your thighs chafe together (even when lean) is no fun. >implying lifting even for a year will give you legs that big No, you're fat. >even when lean Show me ONE lean guy, who has been lifting for a year (a huge amount of time for a beginner program) on ANY routine, SS or not, with huge legs >SS is not balanced between upper and lower body DLs and PCs train both upper and lower You squat exactly as often as you press (3 x week, 3x5) So far it's a tie Rip recommends pull ups, chinups, dips and curls as accessories I don't see the imbalance, please explain it.

Jaxon Flores
No that's Franco Columbo
Adam Cook
Oh, he has really helpful material.
Luke Wood
>Not buying Starting Strength 6th edition and doing the Advanced 2nd stage modified microloading phase for 14 months and subscribing to the Wichita Falls Weekly and hiring a milkman to deliver you milk everyday YNDTP
Christian Martinez
Was SS a scam? Was Mark Rippetoe pretending to be someone else in the past to sell books?
KEK. Well done.
Robert Phillips
Thats Elliot Rodger, not Roger Estep
Cameron Davis
His mom used to live down the street from me. It was that damn creatine....
Jose Powell
I got tested at 17% bf and it took me 2 months of squatting before they would chafe on a pump
Sure it ain't bodybuilder lean, but it is comfy lean, and I can see my abs
Henry Powell
Then it's just your insertions, your fat storage genetics, or you are lying. (Read: it's not the program) I have been lifting for a year and a half, the least I have squatted for is 2x week, I have gone from 30 to 17% bf, my squat went from 1 pl8 to 3.25 pl8 and my thighs never chafe.
Lucas Butler
I know the OP is baiting, but for the noobs who actually may not know: SS is the best program, hands down, IF you want to increase your strength (hence: Starting Strength). The book reads like a textbook and it's not optional to read the whole thing. That being said, SS is NOT an aesthetics program, and if you're lifting for girls (in the current year no less) then SS is not for you.
Strong people do SS. Good looking people might do SS, but would probably see better results on a program not based on bulking.
