>rich guy says you can do the thing
Memetastic

>someone who's done the thing confirms it is doable

Off yourself trump supporter

Thats already obvious since he did it.
Anythig he says after that is just bullshit

Keep thinking like that trash

A small loan of a million dollars.

I love this meme in America. "Work hard and you'll succeed." It's clear from the start very few people will succeed.

6.4 factoring in inflation.

Thats what called capitalism.
Capitalism can only exist because of idiots chasing the dream despite never ever making it.

America is the central of capitalism, which is funny since its also a realy religious part of the world.

I wonder how americans who believe in christianity and jesus explain how they can support capitalism, which is against EVERYTHING jesus and the bible stand for.

Fuck off filthy commie

As long as you are born into a moderately well off family, have good genetics, and are a hard worker, you can climb pretty high up on the social ladder

Don't forget being put in charge of Daddy's company at the ripe old age of 26

You'd be surprised how many people don't actually work hard. If you work hard and smart you will succeed. If you work really smart you will succeed.

Not really though - i mean yeah, there are a few cases that shine through, but most people just stay in their class - especially the poor.

Scandic welfare model masterrace checking in.

>my fucking face when plebes are arguing about which system for the distribution of material wealth is best
>they probably don't even believe in ethical, heroic, and organic values

>mad american

what a suprise.

>as long as
>mentions 3 facts, 2 of them cant be achieved, your born with it

kill yourself sheltered princess.

You are a fool and probably not American. Swedish if I had to guess.

CANT STUMP THE TRUMP

So like the top 20%

>bernfag

Danish. Why am i a fool?

Because you go to planet fitness and have a Bernie bumper sticker.

>i have no arguments so i spread my favourite /polcuck/ memes

kys

I think it did work dring the baby boomer generation. The economy was really progressive then. Degrees meant something. The average salary was higher compared to living costs.
Which is why every oldfag now just goes you can work hard you can succeed and shit.

>creating claims with no evidence and expecting a retort with evidence
You first m8

You can still work hard in the trades and make a perfectly respectable middle class income, but this thread does not belong on this board at all.

And has made it bigger and more succesfull after that

Regardless of the fact that he was born with a golden spoon in his mouth he turned that golden spoon into a golden house so obviously the fucker knows what he's doing

Get jelly dirty commie

Is that what your boss told you?

You aren't going to succeed. What happens is your goalposts change. Eventually you get so tired of failed big dreams you start paying attention to the small stuff. Little promotions, a new car, having a savings account. Little by little your fantastical childhood dreams die and by sixty you'll be happy that your won't be homeless.

Then you die, thinking you've achieved everything you ever wanted.

You can't argue with them.

>turning 1 million dollars into tens of billions of dollars doubling it by itself many times
Haha wow this is what drumpf fans actually believe?? That's not success! Success is not having a job until you're 40 and then sitting in Congress for three decades accepting a 6 figure paycheck with social benefits to only pass three bills in which two of them were to rename a post office! Checkmate.

Good luck achieving anything by being a miserable bum dependant on the white mans tax money. Get a job fag

That also depends on where you are.
A lot of trade work is being taken over by immigrants.

Most people aren't working hard enough. If fucking Ben sleepy doctor Carson can do it, so can you. He literally had everything single fucking disadvantage growing up. Grew up poor to a single mother, no father and in a poor neighbourhood. Still bitching now cuck?

You sound like me in the 8th grade.

Theres a saying.
>Getting rich from nothing is hard work.
>Getting richer from rich is inevitable

Wow seems like you're projecting a little much. Just because you're a failure doesn't mean millions of other people are doing just fine and the system has worked for them. And the fact that you can spout out this bs in our society on either a nice computer or phone speaks volumes of how good it is. With our system everyone is unequally blessed while with socialism/communism everyone is equally miserable.

Start learning construction now and you can get a job working on the wall.

It seems impressive if you don't know anything about economics, no offense intended. The economically grows exponentially. Anyone who owns assests like stocks or companies will have their wealth grow exponentially. Wealth, not income. Very different things. Billionaires are universally investors like these.

During his time America underwent an incredible economic boom. During the fifties the per captia income was 9,000. Now, it's 51,000.

In investing there's something called benchmarking. It's the measure of an investor - whether his portfolio's growth outstrips the market growth, aka did he beat the market. Comparing it to the S&P500, if he a million in at the time it was loaned he'd be as rich as he was today. Not taking into account the infrastructure of his dad's company and any other assests he was given. Trump is at best an average investor.

Only caveat is Trump deals exclusively in real estate, which is hard to gauge. The S&P might not necessarily reflect the real estate market.

All of you saying this isn't true - did you study hard and get a 4.0 in high school and college? Take challenging classes? Did you get a near perfect score on the SAT? Did you get admitted to a top tier university where you worked your ass off to be where your want to be?

Anyone can do all of the above as long as they have at least an average IQ (Yes, even the SAT).

If you're not successful, it's because you are lazy, or were lazy at the time when hard work mattered the most.

t. Upenn business major with great future prospects from a modest family

He ran his golden house into the fucking ground in the early 90s and his creditors stripped the gold plate off to make up for his debts, he built it back up via merchandising and reality TV, the man hasn't developed property in years he just rents out his name.

I won't fault the man for getting rich through reality TV, but recognise that puts his talent on about the same level as say, Paris Hilton

>literally pick out 1 guy out of millions to prove anyone can make it
99.99% of famous blacks are athletes or entertainers as well

I dont live in the us. Where i live the trades earn jack shit due to cheap immigrants

Let's put this in perspective, say someone receiving a welfare check gets 2,000 dollars and has to spend 1k to provide for themselves the basic necessities. Now they have 1k left over. Now if they could do what Donald Trump did they could make that 1k into 10 million dollars. Just because someone receives money doesn't mean they know what the hell they're going to do with it or how to multiply it many times over.

He didn't make it by being a monkey. He made it by studying hard. What? You going to bitch about being born dumb now?

“To one he gave five talents, to another, two, and to another, one, each according to his own ability; and he went on his journey. Immediately the one who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and gained five more talents. In the same manner the one who had received the two talents gained two more. But he who received the one talent went away, and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.”

I suggest you start at Matthew 25:15-18, user. The "Jesus was a socialist" meme is liberal propaganda:

Someone in the crowd said to Him [Jesus Christ], ‘Teacher, tell my brother to divide the family inheritance with me.’ But He said to him, ‘Man, who appointed Me a judge or arbitrator over you?"

>average
>one of the richest people in the country while also being in the top five of most influential

>one of the richest people in the country while also being in the top five of most influential
That says more about the sorry state of the American public than anything

I'm not any of those. I'm not even American.
I'm not talking about communism which is obviously worse. I'm talking about the prevalent idea that everyone will "succeed" if they work hard. Unless your idea of success is a middle class income at 40, you're delusional.
Not American, but I am about to enter one of the top 15 universities in the world.

You completely misunderstand. Hard work will get you somewhere, but it's not the somewhere everyone talks about. It's a middle class, maybe upper middle class at the end of your career, position in society.

It's a simple and obvious fact many people work hard. Almost everyone does the same working hours, 9-5. Most however do not in any sense succeed.

politifact.com/punditfact/statements/2015/dec/09/occupy-democrats/occupy-democrats-say-simple-investment-trumps-fath/

I saw the meme too, user. Multiple sources say it is wrong.

If you think he's impressive look at Buffet. He's an actual great investor. Started out with infinitely less than Trump and now five to ten times wealthier than him. Gates too. At least gates contributed something, the PC.

You realize 2 sentences inside a book with 3000000 sentences against it dont prove anyithing right?

How do you explain capitalism with religion, how do you explain all the people who lost theire homes in the last crysis while still being religious?

1 question: was jesus healing the blind man or was he TAKING something from him for healing him?
