Gym shoes

What do you have? These don't seem worth is when chucks are $80 here

...

I have a pair of those but I bought them for $80 like 2 years ago

Nike Romaleos 2. They are 100% worth the money.

wrestling kicks from highschool

That's the type of shoe I think I want. Closest I can find is indoor/turf soccer boots with no sole like pic

Or maybe some boxing shoes. Wrestling isn't really a thing over here

Matflex 5 sizing is horrible. Don't order online without trying them first! I usually wear size 10, even of the same brand, but man even in size 11 those Matflex 5 are tight as fuck even if you loose the laces

the only correct answer in this thread

Go to fucking Ross, they have the black/red versions for 40$ usd. I got those and love them.

I don't want to buy shoes without trying them on irl which seems to be limiting my options too much
What is ross?
I am not in the USA

Should I get steel toe work out shoes or is a soft toe fine? I'm scared shitless I might drop the weight on my toes.

Can't find them in my local stores friend

Ross is a cheap outlet store that pretty much sells leftover clothing from other stores (sounds shitty, but they actual have some good clothes, desu and it's all cheap).

where do you live?

NZ

Supermang?

BAREFOOT MASTERRACE REPORTING

Don't want to buy shoes without trying them on
In the past Adidas have been too narrow for my feet

koppen something or others, were 35 bucks at Dick's sporting goods..

soft enough sole for running, but firm enough for squats/DL's.

and antimicrobial inserts for living in my gym bag without smelling like your mother's fupa.

I squat in flat vans, its basically like not wearing shoes because they pretty much only provide a flat surface is this good?

yeah it's not like places like amazon offer free returns and refund you the next day or anything.

thinking about getting either converse or new balance minimus like pic related. anyone have any experience? my adidas ate the shit today and the heal separated. i don't want specific weight lifting shoes. trying to keep it under $100 but money's not much of an issue, just like to spend it on other things. any other recommendations are welcomed.

Sole looks like it will squish when you lift heavy weights.
Do not recommend
