Its harder than regular squatting.

How is it harder?

It puts the centre of gravity up higher and further forward, meaning you've got a longer lever and a weight that is constantly trying to round you over and throw you forward.

I had my first meet last weekend and I'm planning to compete not earlier than next year at this date. I want to gain 7kg for the next weight class. What should my macrocycle look like? Do I ever have to test my 1RM in the next 6 months? I was going to do 2 cycles of Israetel's hypertrophy template and maybe continue with his strength cycle. Also I don't even understand how I hurt myself. My squat back angle is perfectly straight, no hyperextensiom or rounding at all and I was fine for ages but it just got fucked out of the blue when squatting.
I record my sets and my squats looked fine, perhaps too deep, as well I widened my stance to reduce knee travel so I guess that's also responsible.

I don't understand how I did so much damage, but the incident made me almsost vomit and pass out almost immediately after.
