Most of the time I'm getting the opposite impression. Every time protein powder is mentioned you get 5 replies saying "just eat your calories" "it's just wasted money" "egg whites are better" "just drink coffee" and other replies in that manner.
Well there's the people who are all about getting it out of food, but there's a wide benefit from whey and the powder. You get that dissent but no one is pushing any brands.
In their defense, you can get it out of food but for those of Veeky Forums who don't earn a lot, your best concentrated dose is in a bucket of powder which they fail to realize. It's easier to just assume everyone earns as much as they do.

Well I meant fad diets like atkins or liquid diet bullshit. Our biggest are keto, veganism and sometimes paleo which is more of a lifestyle thing I guess so I didn't chalk them up.
