Tomorrow is Final Group Presentation and handing in my Research Paper followed by running (5K).

Tuesday is Final Exam, followed by lifting.

Both after work, 9-5. I think I should do pretty well, but I don't like relying on others for the group presentation part.

I'm also taking summer classes, I want to get my degree done as soon as possible but since I'm limited in when I can take classes, I'm cramming this shit in.

Engineering is a lot of work, I've had to make a lot of sacrifices, but I know it will be worth it. And it's never too late to pursue anything. If you're passionate about it, then you'll find a way.

Honestly though, I hate 90% of the people in my classes. A bunch of immature, pretentious no-it-alls on their high horses that love to spew catalog facts about the new Ferrari, but can't even change their own oil. If you get into engineering when you're a little older, you'll have a better mindset for it.

And you only need to take 1 or 2 classes above Calc 3 for most engineering. Civil engineering has a good "difficulty to learn" to "job security" ratio. Maybe check that out

IB is a complete fucking joke and a waste of time. its not difficult, its just work for the sake of doing work.

Why is it a prevailing consensus that IB schools just under-prepare their students for any IB science exam?
Im sick and tired of seeing this shit year after year.

Tbh the only hard part unique to engineering is the required internships and co-ops (and if your degree doesn't require any co-op then you're wasting your money).
Intro calc courses are so diluted that most engineers don't see where the stuff they use comes from, which makes them inherently see math as being tedious and computational. This is actually one of the most difficult problems in math education, since this leads to a lot of undergrads missing out on a lot of the key concepts while the department doesn't have enough funds to cover every nitty-gritty detail for the freshmen.

Fortunately for me I took most my math classes at city college where they didn't have the option of Math for Engineering majors so I had to do all the derivations and learn the theory. Also our school had amazing math teachers that were really dedicated so I feel like I got the most out of it.

Also I didn't even fuck with internships. I was working construction during my sophomore year and the owners of the engineering firm found out that I could do computer drafting (took my first year) and hired me.
