As someone who hates 1 and 2 because they are simply overhyped 6/10 shit.; I actually kinda enjoyed 3. Fixes a lot of flaws, for example shots and blacksmiths are all crammed into your hubworld and you have access to fast travel immediately, bonfires are also more common. This means => less waste of life time.
Also better design, less cryptic and more polished.
