you must have zero consistency and a horrid diet.

It's not your body, or you havent been lifting shit.

Lifting what?

>tfw bigger than this after 9 months
I'll never be frustrated with my slow gains again.

I know you're baiting/trolling/meme'ing but I'm bored so...

4 years of lifting and still DYEL lol JUST

I look like this and i've been lifting for 1.5 years
I'm a recovering fat fuck though but still, it's shit progress.

im lifting since 3 years on and off with shitty diet and 0 consistency and look like that aswell. never gonna make it, leave me behind

>6 god damn fucking yrs reporting in

This is me. Every 'on'-time is getting progressively longer, though. Right now going on 4 months of 5 days/week and training to fail every time.

I'm gonna fucking make it this time.

On the upside you are neither a blob nor a skeleton.

fix your diet mate

progressive overloads, lift to failure, dropsets

you will make it

I'm just like that after one month of bodyweight exercises.

your legs aren't that bad, mind if I mush my beard on them? And by beard I mean fat dikey wife

>tfw bigger than this after 3 weeks

There are a couple of things people tend to ignore or forget when they laugh at somebody else's seemingly poor progress.

First of all, lifting for x amount of time rarely means that the person in question has been going hard at it all this time. Many things will influence progress: not knowing how to train yet, not knowing how to eat yet, fuck-around-itis/program hopping, motivation coming and going, life happening in the shape of familiy death or new girlfriend or whatever etc. etc.

Secondly, gains come at a slower and slower rate the closer you get to your individual potential, meaning that while there may be a huge difference between somebody who's been lifting for 1 and somebody who's been lifting for 3 years, the difference between somebody who's been lifting for 4 and 6 years will be pretty small, all else being equal.

That said however, OP's progress is still pretty fucking shit.

My sides are orbiting the sun now because of all these failures who cant fucking eat/train right.

That's the worst pose to show off the body plus bad lighting. Even with that you still look pretty bad

minutes*
fixed that for you, bro

>4 months lifting
Ftfy

>soon I'll be sixty years old

6 years of being inconsistant with diet and routine.

Lifting middle finger to food and weights?

You have to actually increase the weight you lift

do you guys "lift" once a month?
looks worse than my 4 month progress

are you sure you lifted?

Looks worse than I do at 2 and 1/2 months. A lot worse

Nothing to discuss tho.
If we're being honest, you could be able to do 200kg Deadlifts and look like that, no one knows.

Shit looks = shit diet.
That's why some epic-tier oly lifters look like absolute and utter shite .

You thought diet and progressive overload were memes, huh?

This was me after 6 months.

Clearly you weren't consistent, and followed a god awful diet. Seriously, you're fat which means only 1 thing - you eat too much, butterball. So stop eating so fucking much.

Second, stick to a consistent routine. God damnit, if you did squats, bench, pullups, and threw in maybe a few more exercises according to your discretion, you will have results. I know you don't do this, your body reflects it.

You DON'T get to say you've been lifting 4 years. Because you haven't. If you had, your body would reflect it. Swallowing pizzas whole and doing some occasional donut curls does not count as lifting. Youre one of those fattys that justifies their gross mass with "hurr durr, im bulking". No, you are just FAT.

Fuck you, quit making excuses and actually put in some work. Then you can complain (but not really, pussy, because you'll have results)

looks exactly like my body after 1 years of lifting 2bh with you family member

Stop shitposting

Looks strong. That's why you hop on roid otherwise you'd fovecer look like DEYL

OP here.

My body looks like shit because out of these 4 years, first 1.5 I was mostly curling and I regularly have 2-6 month breaks from gym. My natural mode before gym was skinnyfat who couldn't even do 1 pullup.

With that being said, I tried to take the worst possible photo in terms of pose/lightning to bait more replies (clearly worked, check out the faggot with a dirty mirror above).

The truth of the matter is that I have looked much better than this and indeed, even with 6 months of hard training most people can look better. This is simply because gains can be lost very quickly, you can lose 4 months gains in 2 months no gym easily. Strength seems to vanish less quickly though.

Current stats:
Bench 110KG
Deadlift 170KG
Shoulder press 70KG
Squat 120KG (weak relatively, I know)

Your face looks so punchable idk why

Keep in mind that THESE are the kind of people who give advice on Veeky Forums claiming having 5+ years of lifting experience.

Wow lot of talk and not a lot of gains to back it up

Not to mention that your bf% is almost exactly the same as OP

Great

kek

this + that gif. oh i laughed

Your body doesn't allow you to give advices using that tone.

you probably were fit before, or you are juicing.

Just some kid who saw his pump in the gym lockers and thought oh shit i'm HUGE and now thinks he's aesthetic as fuck
Anyone posting
>I've been lifting for x months and I look better
without joining a picture is absolutely full of shit.
Not that it's impossible but we've all seen those kids two months in at the gym who start wearing tank tops and snapping selfies in the mirror when their biceps start popping a bit.

do you even lift?

This man has a hank hill ass

How? just how?

Mirin sock bulge

Tell your mom to clean the bathroom mirror

Looks kind of like my body after 3 years of lifting. I've been trying to recomp for like a year though because I'm scared of cutting and losing my miniscule gains so that's probably why.
Where you as weak as me when you first stepped into the gym? Lifts then vs now are:
30kg bench > 95kg bench
40kg squat > 125kg squat
35kg deadlift > 155kg deadlift

I will take a pic soon for this thread. Help me anons

work your shoulders more

Is "post a dyel looking beginnger lifter and claim you've been working for years" a new meme?

PPL and routine general?

its posted on /r9k/ alot as

>that "deadlift"

>2 years of working out and look like a worse version of this guy
I only lift at uni which means up to 3 month periods of no working out, I guess that's probably why I've barely changed.
Htf do people decide what to eat each day though, and five times a day at that???

That's why you arent making it. Muscles have no time to repair and grow. Failure is taxing and counterproductive. You are doing it wrong.

i never go to failure. I always take a rest day after a work out day. I grow muscles like a motherfucker.

from phone

you eat the same shit everyday breh

>People still believe the natty meme

Honestly i worked out hard with a good diet for about 6 years, gained ~40 pounds of muscle and still looked like shit. Hopped on and within a month i started to actually look decent. Some people will look like shit no matter how long and hard they workout.

>this guy

You have my body after being extremely active until 20 and then sitting on the computer for 6 more years. I'm skinnier now though so slightly worse. :)

It all depends where you started from man!

guys, this is what 2 years of good dieting and routine leads to

if you want anything more then you need to roid

>3 years
>125kg squat

user pls...

I understand there's nothing stopping you from knowing better at that age but I hate when people make cringe videos / hate on people

No, this is your body after 4 years of stopping lifting.

2 years of inconsistent lifting from uni but decent diet

Also i am aware on lighting cheat
My progress makes me feel bad

Post cb

you look like you lift

Thanks user, i appreciate it

I'm cursed with this physique and slowgains..help me Bros. Wat do?

Eat more, train intense, always add weight to the barbell

bohoo how can you not eat only shit trash food like a fat fuck that you are
you barely need to pay any attention to what you eat if you'd just stop eating shit food, i almost never pay attention to my diet at all and still get +170g of protein a day and hit good macros and mainly eat only decent food instead of shit

better start liking slow carbs healthy fats and protein rich foods and cut out MOST of sweets and other trash food

>3 years
>Only added 10 lbs
>probably not even reached 1/2/3/4 for reps
>I just have shit genes man
By the amount of retards you see here you would think that lifting was some voodoo magic

You may not be exercising right. You could be adding too much weight or not enough. Focus on doing multiple sets instead of doing 2 sets of 5 reps and then being too tired to continue. I do 50 pounds under my ORM and try to do as many sets as possible.

Today I just spent an hour alternating between biceps, triceps, and chest, doing as many sets with limited weight.

Try decreasing and increasing weight and seeing what works for you. I used to have slow gains til I put back the weight and just focused on getting a lot of clean sets going.

Bicep should be the sole muscle group to focus on, the stronger your bicep becomes the more you can squat and deadlift aswell.

people on Veeky Forums are used to seeing perfect lighting, pump, roidmonkeys, etc. OP isn't even that uncommon outside of the warped view that Veeky Forums has

Idk user that aint too bad for 2 years

>tfw avg Veeky Forums user started lifting 3-12 months ago and believes natty potential is big enough to have a body that stands out and that natty gains don't literally just stop after 2nd year of smart and dedicated training
>tfw they won't listen no matter what and have to learn the sad truth by themselves
>tfw it was always like that and will never change

Probably how I will look in 4 years.

1yr inconsistent lifting and meh diet

Didn't this guy do a bunch of calisthenics however?

That deadlift is fatal

You're supposed to eat and SS isn't viable past 6 months, maybe 9 months

Man you gone n fucked it up

Be more consistent, follow a decent routine, follow an actual diet.
