I know this is very pathetic, and very far fetched, but I'm in dire need of your help.
Ever since my bike broke down it has become incredibly hard for me to get to school (I live 10 km from it) and since my parents aren't very well off I've made an indie gogo as a last resort.
Currently I'm very close to landing a scholarship to america (which is a dream of mine), but since I'm constantly tired and late to school it has compromised my chances.
If I don't fix this problem soon I will miss out on an experience that I will remember for the rest of my life.

It actually usually takes me 1.5-2 hours to and from school. getting ready and eating breakfast usually takes an hour and half. School starts at 8 am which means I have to wake up at 4.30 am.

The reason to why it takes such a long tim is that I shower for about 45 minutes (It takes ages for the warm water to come) and it takes 20 minutes to prepare my breakfast and another 15 to eat it. The other 10 minutes is me putting clothes on, brushing my teeth, etc.

I have a few questions and some advice for you.
1) Why do you need $500 for a bicycle?
Bicycles are significantly cheaper than that. Here in the States I am able to find bicycles others are giving away for free on Craigslist. I just looked up bicycles (Swedish keyword "cykel") on the Stockholm Craigslist and it returned nothing. Craigslist doesn't seem to be as popular there as it is here. I recommend you use whatever is most popular over there.
I can almost guarantee you will find someone willing to either give you a bike or sell you one for less than $500.
2) If your story is true, then you are right. This is important and an opportunity you should not risk losing. If you really want it though, nothing will stand in your way. You'll do whatever it takes, even if that means going to bed earlier so you can wake up early and walk/cycle to school at a leisurely pace, or camping at your school's grounds.
Advice: This may not be the right forum. Have you tried Reddit? Reddit loves to get swept up in these kinds of do-good things. I bet you'll find more Redditors with disposable income, too.

Lazy piece of shit. I shower in cold as fuck water, brush my teeth, put clothes on, make a protein shake to go, and walk 45min at a 3mph walking rate to campus everyday during school times. The minimum ampunt on indiegogo is 500. in reality I'd need about 100 dollars.
No one is giving awak free bikes here(idk why) and the minimum is basically 60 bucks for an incredibly shitty bike.
The only way to get a free bike here is to steal it, and I have morals so I'm not gonna do it.
