not op but a year ago I lost my job and times were really rough and I was so poor I could only eat one meal a day on my budget, during that time I was consuming under 1000 calories a day not by choice but because of my circumstances. Eventually having so little energy I could barely move most of the day. I ended up gaining weight and feeling like if somebody tackled me my bones would break. I'm 6 feet went from 190 to 210 over a 6 month period and lost most of my gains. That being said how do I recover from eating so little without ballooning up now that I'm not too poor to eat anymore? Anybody know the best way to go about this?

You've been eating at least an average of 2000 calories per day since january, this lower bound assuming you never once got out of your bed during these months and assuming that you're a 5 foot tall 60 year old woman. Realistically you've been eating more than 3000kcal per day.

Maybe you've been eating 1200kcal most days, and binging on 8000kcal occasionally, but you've been eating way more than 1200kcal/day on average.

260 cal per serving x 12 servings x 5 boxes = 15,600 calories per day

Assuming he has a fatty's TDEE of 2600, he was eating at surplus of 13,000 calories per day. A pound of fat is 3500 calories. 13,000 / 3500 = 3.71 lbs gained per day. Over five months, he should weigh 3.71 lbs x 150 days = 557 lbs. plus his original weight of 203 lbs for a grand total of 760 lbs.

OP is being modest when he says he weighs 221 lol.
