dude, i said that about fifty times in different forms, over and over and over again. He just asked the crowd what they think everytime and they boooood at me and yelled at me to pay up

As soon as he did the first cheating pushup i started yelling like crazy how i won, jumping around and imagining what to do with 100 bucks. But he just kept on banging out those half push ups and everybody was cheering for him, hyped as fuck. They got my point, it seemed like they just didnt give a fuck ,were hyped and also they wanted to fuck with me. Probably didnt help that the guy i challenged was the alpha male of the party, and everybody liked him and didnt want to piss him off by arguing for my side.

The whole bet happened because one girl teased this guy with stating that "user looks kinda stronger than you, despite his belly" and he took it personally and started talking about how he could do 30 pullups 150 push ups blabla so i called him out on his bullshit.

Sad thing is, sometimes you get scammed, and especially when the scammer manages to turn the whole public opinion on his shit, theres fuckall you can do against it. Try arguing against a crowd of 30 drunk people who all support their alpha male, no matter what.

I've been stuck on 6 reps for like 4 weeks now. Don't know how to progress. I started doing static holds at the end of every set and I definitely felt it, but my reps still don't increase.

What to do? Add another set? I do three sets now. Add negatives after my real reps?

i trained very dedicated with a personal trainer over a period of 6 months, i was stuck at 10 pullups for about 3 months.

my trainer couldnt explain it, i was adding weight like a mofo on all other lifts, making good gains, he even ordered me to eat even more which i did, put a layer of fat on my stomach.

Pull ups wouldnt get any higher than 10.

Then suddenly, after 3 months of stalling and doing everything he could think of, i banged out a set with 14 pullups.
