OP here,
I was thinking eggs, tuna, pasta, and PB.
Just need to have protein, carbs, and fat...
Maybe sweet potatoes for the added vitamins and fiber?

Get black beans, oats, and pls post more.

same ass

it won't be fun, but you can survive on potatoes and dairy for quite a long time. hopefully a place near you has a sale and you can get ~5 pounds for $1
dried beans, chicken, and pork shoulder should also be available for quite cheap somewhere as well

I just checked online and my local grocery store has whole chickens for $1 per pound and pork shoulder for $1.99 per pound. the pork shoulder probably wouldn't work for you since they're typically around 6-10 pounds. you should be able to get a whole chicken for under $6 though hopefully

you'd be able to make your normal baked chicken breast, but you can also make a fantastic homemade stock and tons of soup/stew. it'll take work, but you'll get a lot out of it.

mah nigga, appreciate the effort into this post

Rice, beans, eggs, 1 gallon of milk. Go super early or late (depending on store) for marked down meats. Freeze and thaw when cooking.

$2-3 for 2 pounds of rice, $2-3 for 2 pounds of beans, $1.50-2.00 for eggs, $3-4 for milk. Rest of meat/frozen veggies imo.

go to a food bank fagget. they're free.

Oats
Milk
Ground beef
Rice
Sweet potato
Black beans
Coffee

rice and pasta are staples of the poor diet. get as big a bag as you can for maximum savings. dont waste money on sauce/seasoning its only good for taste and you cant afford to have food taste good. eggs arent a bad option, neither is milk. for actual food go to restuarants at closing time(diners after lunch, other places late at night) and tell them you are struggling to feed your child and could use any help they can offer. lying is your friend here be as pathetic as possible. make sure not to wear too nice clothing and maybe dont shower that day. good luck i have been where you are my brother

Ramen, beans, rice and beef. Ezpz
Ramen by itself.
Beans and rice mixed
Rice and meatballs
Rice and Ramen

Don't know where you're at, but if you have a grocery outlet near you, they usually have a carton of eggs for a dollar. Two of those, rice, the cheapest meat you can possibly buy, a cheap tub of peanut butter. Torn between veggies and bread cause bread is cheaper but it's a complete waste calorie wise. If you're just looking for cheap calorie dense food, look for carb staples. Rice, beans, pasta. Fuck sauce cause it's all sugar.

Don't know if you're trying to eat to survive or are worried about macros with 27 dollars. Just to survive? Super easy. Need lots of protein? Gonna be a little harder.

This. I had to do it when I have no money after paying my bills for the month. Its embarrassing as hell but I'm grateful to the people that helped me out in a time of need.
