So everyone knows this lift stalls like a mother fucker. Got any advice? I'm thinking of switching to periodizaton for OHP. I do PP, jerk press, the two OLY lifts and pause incline bench. So at this point it's my main non explosive press but its an accessory to the oly lifts really because i care more about my OLY numbers up other than anything.

I know that. I never wrote any specific numbers because less reps obviously means somewhere in the range between 6 to 12 and more rest obviously also means to wait at least 6 days between each workout.

You need to bulk for ohp bro. It takes strength that you need calories for.

Started doing Push Press recently, PR is 165 x6 on that.

Finished first 3 weeks of 531 today, doing PP as a main lift and OHP as a volume secondary (4x8), but I think I'll switch that for the next cycle, to work on PP technique with lighter weights.

And my shoulder mobility is utter shit and it doesn't seem to get better.

Coming in on 4 months of lifting now, OHP once a week and bench twice. Sometimes add in lateral raises if im feeling high energy.

is it me or does cutting really mess up your OHP strength?

got up to 60kg x 5 before starting to cut, i've been on a ~ 700-800 cal deficit for about 2 months now and this morning i only managed 55 x 5. i don't think my 1RM has changed much, can still put up 65kg, it's just my endurance is fucked. it's not as obvious with the other lifts, just OHP

I don't know my 1RM OHP, but I do sets of 10 reps with 25kg, 30kg on really good days.

Been lifting for 1.5 months now, OHP seems to be the slowest to progress. I started at like 17kg OHP for my 10rep-sets initially. All the other lifts seem to have gone up significantly more.
