How am i doing? 2 years of lifting
Symmetric strength thread
Better than me.
My shits week
You guys need to work on your calves
>literally skipping legs
DYEL reporting for duty
6 weeks progress
Kek those thighs nice job curlbro
Started begining of May.
What site is this?
2pl8 binch today brehs
feels so good
I don't fucking get it
I'm on 2.5pl8 squat but not even 1pl8 bench
Feels bad man
tfw finally starting to see a hint of blue
Making it?
In my experience the key to increasing the presses is a high frequency and eating on a solid surplus of calories.
Anything in particular you think might be slowing you down?
Height and weight?
High frequency of what? Jacking off?
You're either a female or a T-rex
I am not a curlbro, I just don't enjoy squat.
of the movements you fucking retard
>In my experience the key to increasing the presses is a high frequency and eating on a solid surplus of calories.
That applies to all lifts, you dumb fuck
You're retarded, even if this was an attempt at being funny.
Looks like benchbro is more accurate
>lifting for 4 months
>can bench 1pl8 for reps
And I started out just using the bar. Something is wrong.
1 plate is 50kg, right? You can't bench that?
60kg
did you join the gym yesterday?
No, but the term plate is confusing to me
>tfw teal is starting to come in
one plate means two plates in total, one on each side.
20kg+20kg+ 20kg from the bar
a "plate" is a 20kg/45lbs plate.
"1 plate" means the barbell is loaded with one plate on each side
The barbell weighs 20kg/45lbs
You do the math, nigger
Thanks boys
>this had to be explained
>deadlift 445
>Bench 295
>squat 315
>OHP strict press 165
>I'm mostly novice and intermediate
In the trash it goes.
symmetricstrength.com in case anyone was wondering
hi fatty
Symmetric strength
How it rates you is largely affected by your weight and age, in addition to your actual stats.
You're probably a fatty
6'4" 220, like 16% bf.
Where did the term come from? And why 20kg plates?
Oh ok. I'm 28 so maybe that's why. I'll admit I could shed about 10 lbs but I'm trying to build strength right now.
Do you even fucking go to the gym? It's just shorthand.
It's 20kg plates because that's the largest standard plate. Jesus Christ.
25 kg is the largest actually
Not at the gyms I go to. I have never seen a 25kg plate
Got 25kg plates at my gym though..
You should relax, take your roidrage to /fraud/
is this ok for 7 months of lifting?
>is this ok
>doesnt even post lifts
Yeah you are right on target
Found the perma bulker
Decent bench but at 220lbs everything else is exactly as the picture says it is.
I do think the website cuts it a little easier for lighter (aka shorter) people though.
my b
>Deadlift is only 15lbs ahead of Back Squat
Nigga, what?
I do deadlifts like once a week and I feel like I still cant get the form right but squats I do a lot more regularly
You're turning into Pepe one muscle group at a time?
Back squat 115kgx8
Diddylift 140kgx5
Incline bench (shoulder injury cant do normal for a while) 70kgx5
OHP (really weak due to fucked up shoulder) 47,5kgx5
Weighted pull-up 17,5kgx7
its not unusual if you dont skip legs all the fucking time
my gym has tons of them, mainly for the leg press.
Feel like this website heavily underestimates pull up strength i cant almost be at advanced with my ohp stuck in novice.
>130 kg bench
>intermediate
yeah right
He didnt mention his weight.
how does weight help in bench press?
what site bros?
The heavier you are, the easier it is to lift weights.
preciate it bro
7 months lifting. Is this good?
I still don't see how fat can help you lift something up while lying on your back
Fuck me
Not fat but muscle mass although it is easier to retain muscle mass while holding more fat.
There are weightclasses in most sports involving physical strength because the heavier guys would just crush the lighter ones
190cm around 77-80 kgs.
squat 60kg
deadlift 70kg
OHP 30kg
bench 40 kg
I went from 95 % subpar to 100% untrained in eight days. Already leaving humanity behind, brehs.
>97 symmetry score
Th-thanks, Mehdi
What program or site does this?
So they have more muscle mass, which means they are relatively stronger, yet the lift is still just intermediate.
Seems like some DYELs ploy to me, lower the level of those that are stronger to feel less worthless.
If you're fat enough then the range of motion is decreased by your fucking fatty fatness
Teach me
I'm this guy with a 17 score
What's more impressive, a 4 pl8 bench at 80 kg or a 4,5pl8 bench at 140kg?
dam son
Been doing stronglifts for just about 5 months with somewhat of a sports background. I hit lagging/neglected muscles with 3x10 or drop sets of isolation at the end of every StrongLifts session
but... I swear I lift
...
Yes actually i have 30cm of fat on my chest, so the range of motion is minimal
Dat 2 months progress
So what if a 200kg steel plate falls on either of them, only one survives.
what's the app called?
Symmetric strength, can you people not read?
6 months of lifting
Exact same as me, heres my 2 years
My score is -2
So you'd rather be a fat strong neckbeard than a strong and lean chad to prevent the unlikely case of a heavy object killing you?
You're neither
...
Try using straps or chalk. A lot of people mess up duddlys because their grip can't keep up with their strength. I was at a plateau with deadlifts for about 2 weeks until I made the switch to straps a few weeks ago and immediately broke my pr by 10kg and still making decent progression every week
Post pic
Feel the Teal
>tfw your shoulders are lagging
Thanks Texas Method
Just over a year lifting, fully novice.
185lbs, 6'1". 5 rep maxes are 275lb DL, 195 squat, 150 BP, 100 OHP.
Progress probably comparatively slow because I didn't really commit to a routine until March.
Don't tell me I need to eat more; I already know.
Breh...
Swap out cleans for chin ups
...
So why is it intrinsically important to have symmetric strength?
fraud is that way, you unaesthetic piece of shit.

Spotted the skeleton who's neither fat and strong, or weak and aesthetic. Just skinnyfat and weak :---D
