>deadlifting ever

I challenge you to watch this whole clip without looking away
youtube.com/watch?v=pZgxkE-2QAw

My biceps are weak so there's nothing to worry about

The guy @ 0:21 was bretty funny

made it to 0.50, this is gonna give me nightmares fuck you OP

If you use a mixed grip EVER, your dumb ass deserves this

this is fucking worse than gore

Protip: it only happens when you roid

why are they trying curl while deadlifting

fucking shit you can see it curl up and into their arms

...

How do you even fix something like that?
I can believe that, especially if you look at 2:15, did not think you could get a torn bicep from doing that.

So many 'good lifts' yet people are tearing their biceps, shows you how retarded powerlifting really is.

How many 'good lifts' do you see in weightlifting where somebody tears a muscle.

so how do i avoid this? at some point in the video a guy tore his bicep by curling seemingly low weight

i use double overhandgrip for DL if that matters

>mixed grip
ayy griplets will never learn

I feel like my biceps are gonna tear just doing barbell curls.....

>How do you even fix something like that?
Surgery and you won't ever be as strong as you are in your other arm

they're pretty much curling 3 plates

how does one prevent this?
I'm doing mixed grip 100kg (2 plates), I think they fail because they don't get tight before pulling
they are too quick and sloppy

but I don't know
should I switch to hooked?

how's using a mixed grip bad??

Jesus fuck

They're only tearing their biceps because they're retarded. Maybe if you weren't retarded as well you'd understand that.

Just use straps if you're not gonna be a powerlifter. Hook grip will give you arthritic thumbs later in life.

and this my friends is why you dont roid, and don't deadlift with bent elbows like a fucking mong

It's so easy to bait faggots like you out from their step-dad's basement.

Nice meme

>bent elbows

they deserve it t.b.h

...

Nah I'm in bed with my naked sleeping girlfriend. Nice try though.

We know you are a faggot go vote for Bernie. Faggot.

For one thing it exposes you to the risk of tearing your bicep on the underhanded arm.

Why does this happen, exactly? I only see "lmao bent elbows" in this thread but I don't entirely get it

They don't lock their arms?

sorry for the newfaggotry

Bent arms, incorrect hand placement on bar, not warmed up enough. You have to be an idiot to get a bicep tear from deadylefting.

The bicep of the supinated arm is working to keep the bar stable, as it is very hard to fully relax the bicep while engaging your forearms the way you do in a deadlift.

They come up with a good bit of this engagement, but at some point the arm moves again and the 500lbs hanging off it tears that bicep.

You can get pretty strong from doing deadlifts without ever doing a max attempt, and so get nowhere close to a injury.

can be roids, where the increase in muscle but not the strength of joints just causes the bi-sep tendon to give under the pressure.
can also just be lifting too heavy too fast and it rips

B-but how will I know if I'm a man or not?

thanks user

what exactly is this picture supposed to imply?

Their muscles grow faster than their their tendons. So the bicep will push the tendon away which puts a lot of stress on it

Over - under
Uneven grips
Trying to pull with the arms
Hitching
Hitching with arms
The biceps almost always snap at the same position, right when it goes over the hips.

The strongman tears are just as stupid, trying to lift a 400-600lbs tire with their arms ?

>tfw never deadlifting or curling or rowing again
jesus christ

can this happen with regular barbell rows? there is no mixed grip, but sometimes I fail to activate my back, and my arms pull alot of weight
