How do those black guys on youtube who do calisthenics get so fucking jacked?

Over the past 6 months I've been doing bodyweight exercises. I went from not being able to do 1 pull up to now being able to do 10, but my arms haven't seemed to increase in size at all.

I also went from being able to do 5 half-assed push ups to 40 good form push-ups and it's the same story, my chest maybe has a tiny bit more definition (I also cut like 15 lbs of fat so that's probably why honestly) but not really much mass.

Keep working out. I do calisthetics amd i look pretty good. In 6 months you wont see much progress with weights either.

That's strength training and endurance. You won't get mass doing this kind of exercise, but you will be strong, and you will get definition.

Skin color matters. Face it. It really does. That dude on youtube, on magazines etc and in the picture have also been given a layer of tan oil. You can see how the light shines on their skin. That's the giveaway.

White bb's get smothered in fake tan so their muscles have more definition for compts. Not saying white dudes don't look good. If you goto a gymnastics hall and just watch the experienced white guys you will see the differences in their ripped physiques.

You are not training for size. Forty pushups is endurance training. Stick with your program. If you stick with it, then when you do change onto building mass the gains will literally start to happen within a few weeks.

Try and experience endurance and strength training first though. There is a lot about your body that you will learn through natural strength and endurance training.

What's your bodyfat%? It's important to note those guys in the videos are really shredded, giving them a bigger appearance.

You need to do more advanced exercises. Check out the front lever and the planche. They are both from gymnastics but these guys do them and they require considerably more strength than your regular pull ups and push ups

sleep holy shit thats me, yesterday I stayed up all night and fell asleep at 3-4pm and woke up at 11pm and have been up since, gonna try to stay awake till 10pm.

how the fuck do I fix this, I workout in the morning and usually take 350-400mg of caffeine due to tolerence and make sure not to take any after 11am.

you want to be a wrestler? wrestle and lift weights
you want to be sprinter? sprint and lift weights.
