Things dyels say

Be sure and warmup before doing your lifting routine!

wtf is warmup?

>I only squat, deadlift and bench
>I do not train abs
>I dirty bulk
>I do not foam roll
>I do not buy special training clothes
>I do not use protein powder
>I do not train biceps
>I do not do cardio
>I do not use kettlebells
>I do not practice any martial arts
>I work out but do not play any sport
>I work out longer than 45 minutes per session

Dumbbells are for meatheads

>I don't want to get big

Someone literally said that to me in high school when I corrected his form

lol what the fuck? What does that even mean.

Do you guys really not at least stretch beforehand?

I don't train legs

"I cant lose if I dont play!"

you stretch after you retard

You's the retard, retard.
Dynamic stretching before
Static stretching after

>today is my rest day
>don't forget to do non-compound lifts
>I'm still natty if I use protein supplement
>don't go too deep
>I bought a lifting belt
>why are you squatting barefoot?
>brah
>can someone turn the AC up?

>fuck warmups, I immediately jump straight to working reps
t. guy who perpetually squats 1pl8

Can't get big if you're paralyzed

You dont need to warm up if you are doing 1plate.

i literally cant break parallel unless i do a 10 minute stretching/warm up routine before squats.

I only do two work sets per compound movement except my diddly which I only do one of

>strength = aesthetics bro

make sure you get in your weighted dips

>things dyels say

>don't overtrain bro, don't want to get TOO big now do you?

do you stretch everyday?

dynamic stretching for lifting

you need to stretch more, that's really weird, if you can walk normally you should be able to parallel easily

>Welcome to /plg/.

Do I actually need to strech? I always warm up with 2-3 lighter sets and before I do my 3 working sets. It seems like a huge waste of time to do a bunch of streching before a workout. Don't get me wrong, I do static streching but only in the morning after waking up and before going to bed.

I know people who've said "I don't want to get too big" who are, believe it or not, not exactly close to being too big.

no, but i probably should

tons of people out there can walk fine but cant do parallel. it can be a variety of different problems, for me its poor ankle dorsiflexion as well as insanely tight quads. i sit at a desk for around 12 hours a day for the past 10 years, so my legs have gotten all sort of fucked up. last summer i could only max at a 95lb squat just above parallel, but can do 250lb now just below (after my stretching routine). im pretty sure im getting more flexible, its just taking a shitload of time but im patient so whatever.

Post evidence that I'm dyel.

He probably just actually has interests and hobbies outside of lifting weights.

I asked my DYEL friend to start lifting weights with me and he replied me with "lol i already have a girlfriend, besides running is more comfortable"

I always do stretches and warmup with a rowing machine to feel if something is wrong with me before i go snap my body and paralyze myself.

If you do not do warm up sets, you do not lift meaningful weight.

When i fail my first set, 99.99% it is because i didnt take time to warm up properly.

You can easily squuat 50 more lb warmed up than you could otherwise.

Anyone who doesnt warm up, has never squatted 3pl8 in their lives.

Hell i cant even hit 140x3 ohp without a warm up

You dont do warm up sets.

Warm up sets are necessary, but I only stretch after lifting.

Where have I said that I don't do warmup sets?

>not warming up for deadlifts

Just squatted 3pl8 last night without a single warmup. Previous best was 2 pl8.

No offense but you sound dyel af.
