pic related is me a few months ago, i used to do powerlifting and switched up my split to a bodybuilding routine. Here's what I looked like at around 165 and 6'

Sincerely, i would reccomend you a 3 day routine before doing a PPL. Your body is not used to volume, so it doesn't make any sense going from 0 to 6 days of gym from night to day.

Really, go up little by little. Start with a 3Day program like Greyskull or SS

If i had known this shit i would have saved myself months of meaningless training.

As to PPL routines, don't get me wrong, they are probably the best for hypertrophy, but not for a total newbie like you. For you i would hit routine with less volume (link) and when you have done for 4 or 5 months lean bulking and you get used to all your lifts, then you can switch to PPL and do good (yet in my opinion i would stick to 3 or 4 day lifting, but that is me senpai)

tldr: fucking read the wall text nigger, you will thank me in some months

And if you don't trust me, at least do SS for 1 month to repeat the main lifts and get used to them, then do PPL or whathever you want.

and here's me now, I did lose quite a bit of strength and a bit of weight after that pic cause of depression and other shit reasons. lost around 10lbs but i'm bulking so it'll come back pretty fast hopefully.

to be completely honest with you? fucking nothing at all. I have never trained core besides heavy deadlifts and the occasional standing cable crunch once in a while. My bodyfat % stays low as fuck for some reason despite my shit diet. Pic related is me sitting in a chair and I still have visible abs.

Well after I stopped powerlifting, I went into a depression and stopped eating, then I met a girl and dated her for like 4 months and during that time I went vegetarian and lost a bit of weight, and now we've been broken up for like the past 2 weeks and i'm only just getting back into the gym now but the gains are coming back super fast. During that time when I was with the girl I was lifting inconsistently and not as often so Idk its really hard to say how long it took me to get from pic a to pic b, but going vegetarian definitely got me really shredded. here's a pic from when I wasn't eating meat and still had gainz before i lost them all.

This is right about three months, my first priority was to just put some fucking weight on my body and not be completely pathetically weak. I stalled on my bench and switched up rep schemes, seemed to work and now I'm back in order. Do you think I can each a bodyweight bench for 3x5 before august?

But the most important thing to grow muscle is
1) eating enough protein (1g/lb of lean bodyweight is more than enough, but try aiming for it to find your own sweetspot)
2) eating on a slight caloric surplus (maybe GOMAD is a bit too much to be honest)
3) lifting every time more, aka Progressive Overload

If you do all those 3 things, the only thing left to do is wait, enjoy your journey man

What i meant by that is that if you get all 3 things, the routine you follow is not that important. Just do the one you enjoy the most, because it will be the one that you will follow for the longest time.

A bad routine is only a routine that does not let you do 3) while doing 1) and 2) + sleeping enough (8-9 hours for an adult male)

Nah, I have slight lactose intolerance so I keep it to two or three glasses a day tops. My stable is beef patties, tuna, and rice. I get all of my macros and cals from food because I'm a poorfag and don't want to invest whey.

He's kinda half right. You don't need to train core to have abs. It helps to make them thicker, but if your bodyfat is low enough then they will be visible anyway even when not flexing. But no one has defined abs when unflexed. I haven't trained my core in a year or more maybe.

I just took 2 pics now to show the difference between flexed and unflexed, I'm about 6% bodyfat. I don't really care if it triggers people.

As in what you linked and GOMAD: if you gain too much fat really fast (i would say that gaining more than 0,5kg a week means you are gaining pointless fat) then slow down the pace bro.

This is the program I've been getting results btw. Started with SS for a few months and switched to GSSL.
Lower squat volume and better press progression with microloading. AMRAP sets are also neat.

Good call, when you find yourself comfortable with the form on the main lifts (bench press, overhead press, deadlift and squat) and your progress (the amount of weight you put on the bar) starts to slow down, then you can put on more exercises to SS like chin-ups, curls and general arm workout

Nah. Just eat more. You can also start eating cottage cheese or taking casein before bedtime for a little extra. Go with eggs, chicken breast and other meme lifting foods during the day.

Its hard to say at this point. Ive been doing sports since 11 but not sure when i started regularly lifting.
Also i do go to the gym quiet a bit(usually around 1-3 times a month) so its not like bodyweight exercies magically carry over to weights.

Well if you go to a gym 1-3 times a month then yeah, they pretty much magically carry over. I am lifting for like 3 years, but I had 2 surgeries (pectus excavatum) and for a year I was just going to the gym irregulary because i was completely burned out of it. Also in those years I gained 30kg of nice mass (I used to be a spoopy skeletal), but now in the last 6 months I've been going to the gym 3-6 times a week and feel pretty good. The reason why I posted this blog is because i'm trying to "justify" my average lifts.
Squat 200kg (This isn't my full potential and I could go for 210 or even more, but I'm having a hard time getting over the fear of killing myself and my spotters. It's a shitty psichology.)
Bench 100kg
Deadlift 220kg

You wouldnt last that many days at the gym in a row, train as hard as you can and get a fair amount of protein in on monday, train tuesday to whatever extent you can, leave wednesday for rest and staying hyrdrated, a little bit on thursday but keeping it nice and easy, try go for conditioning on this day with small weights or whatever you do, rest once again and repeat on saturday, rest sunday and go hard on monday

Well since it's summer and I can't go on weekends anymore so I just go 4 or 5 times a week.
On monday I hit the legs, biceps
Tuesday- tits and shoulders
Wednesday is back
Thursday is triceps, biceps
Friday- legs and chest

I rest my legs during chest, and back during tricep day, so everything is fine.

I go to a a YMCA and can outlift a lot of people. Most ive seen anyone squat was 185 with quarter ROM.

Well I go to a basement type gym, it's a powerlifting one, so there are some serious monsters. Honestly, I wouldn't trade that filthy basement into those top tier gyms, you know. In that shithole eveyone is a friend, if you're going for your max, everyone is watching and shouting so you could make it, there is this veteran who is over 40 years old and looks fucking amazing and is strong as fuck. He also shares some good advice. It's a great place, it's only regulars, so we're like a family there. So fuck those commercial gyms, there goes mostly twinks who want to stare at chicks asses all day long and take selfies and that ruins the whole atmosphere.

You hit biceps twice and triceps once? Why?! And chest on the same day as legs? You're not hitting legs enough if you got energy to do chest on that day as well and if you do your lifts will probs suffer.

No. Friday is an easy day, I just do a little bit of legs and then chest. As for triceps, I'm aware that it's bad but I hate tricep workout, but I do put in some weighed dips here and there, but full tricep workout is once a week.
