Gynecomastia Scarring

Hey guys about to go under gyno surgery after all these years of insecurity,and was wondering what your experiences with scarring is.

Doctors are still considering the posibility of skin removal aswell since I lost around 100lbs of weight over the years and the elasticity of the skin is questionable.

Would really appreciate your advice,experiences and opinions if you had them.

Please don't hijack my thread with medication recommendations,I am interested in the end result of surgery since it really is the only option for my type and case of gyno.

Alright, I'll help a brother out. First off, whatever the fuck happens, even if its a botched procedure like the one in your pic, you'll feel a thousand times better after having no gyno. But that doesn't suffice, I know. You'll be better off discussing that with your surgeon and expressing concern about any scars afterwards. I had my operation and the incision was below the nipple at the very edge and it's unnoticeable unless you stare point blank. Minimal scarring. Although I suspect it could be even better than that. No one's ever noticed or made a comment at least, and I go shirtless fairly often. A problem I do have, however, is that when I raise my arms, my nipples cave in a bit. One more than the other. Barely, yet it's something that can happen. It's no big deal, but I remember being paranoid about shit like that when I was about to get surgery. Again, something else to discuss with your surgeon.

I feel so much fucking better afterwards and now, years later, I barely remember what it's like to feel constantly alert and hiding that shit wherever I go. While sitting, even while lying down, if there was else nearby. And my surgeon was a moron. Hopefully yours won't be. Good luck.

And did the size of your nipples reduce?

The thing I absolutely hate the most is the puffiness and size and I am not getting really clear answers if the size of the overal nipple will shrink with not tissue being under it.

I used to have these man. It depends how hard/soft they are but it was before I started lifting. I tried to concentrate on things that will increase my testosterone naturally first so ate right (and lots of test inducing foods such a red grapes and nuts etc). I woke up and had a high intensity run or bike ride, get a shower, head to work and hit the gym right after. I'd lift heavy getting about 5-7 reps at max. As I got fitter they went away with time. Its not really that notable today.

Some people get harder boobs though and those are the ones that can't really be fixed naturally. They can be reduced by the above but in some people they will persist (but everyones will shrink). In that case it lies with you to decide if you should go get surgery. Its better to just lose weight and stuff first since it avoids money, surgery and you get fitter in the process.

No worries. I know how hard it can be. About the former, no, caving in doesn't correlate to bodyfat %. The reason nipples cave in is because the surgeon doesn't simply remove a gland (depending on the person, if the recipient is lean enough he may just remove the gland and stitch it up), but also removes some fat with liposuction. From what I've read, a skilled enough surgeon (or one that cares), will leave enough fat to support the nipple so it doesn't cave in. Having fat on your chest doesn't mean you're fat, only that you aren't particularly shredded, but even a man with visible abs will have some fat there.

And yes, the size was reduced. When that piece of shit cut out the gland, I felt sick. It was far bigger than I'd anticipated. I was awake, and the local anaesthesia didn't completely kill my sensation of being cut open, but that's another story. When that thing's gone, your nipple will get smaller and relatively flat. Just like it should be. If done right, which will most likely happen. The surgeon very well may get sued if he doesn't do what he's paid for

I am currently at around 12 % bodyfat ,and if I get any leaner my exess skin stats showing and have been lifting for around 5 years now.

So did you have puffy nipples?Because I am so paranoid about it that I am contemplating removing a part of the nipple just to reduce its circumference

How does your relaxed nipple size now compare to how it was before?
I am aiming for what my nipples size is when its tensed up in the cold if you get what I mean.

Okay. I am living in Germany and want to get it too, but I think they are really competent and professional here.
Fortunately it doesnt cost me anything, because of our health care system.

Alright then, they'll know what's best. You get the gyno fixed, then they'll remove excess skin if need be. It's totally worth it. As for the recovery, uh... I'm not too sure. But it isn't too long. And it's absolutely worth it in the end. Even if it was a year of excruciating agony.

I wish gyno was taken more seriously. Literally missed my teenage years because of this fuckibg condition.

It's pubertal gyno, had it for 13 years. Went to an endo in my country and she was extremely rude, refused to treat it seriously and very very reluctantly agreed to schedule a blood test. My test came out at 350 ng/dl and she said I was in the healthy range so she refused to look more into it.

I just want to get rid of it.

Can't get a prescription for it, highly controlled med in my country because bodybuilders use it to blast safely. Won't order from darknet or SST because I don't want to get ripped off.

I said it would be worth it even if it was a year. And yes, it's just a few weeks of wearing a compression shirt and not doing anything too rapid

You're supposed to feel a knot between your pecs and niples, this is the gland that causes gyno. If there's nothing, it's a mixture of fat and water retention.

If you can feel a lump behind your nipples when you pinch, it's probably an enlarged gland and thus gyno. But it's not that easy to tell. Put your efforts into getting leaner and then things will become clear

do this , grab your whole tit with your hand like and compress the fat till your fingers get to your nipples, if along the way you feel a lump that is different than the rest, then it is gyno

I got called from the hospital today giving me a date to see the plastic surgeon finally thru social security.
The problem is that the retard who called told my roomate, who picked up the phone, that It was for plastic surgery and I dont want the whole thing to be known.
What could I tell him?

Rather than being a pussy, Id like to avoid the hustle of being asked about it by everyone, having to explain what gyno is ( mine is very mild so people dont see a problem with my chest, they all think I have good pecs),I feel it cause Im the one who has it since I was a 13 Im informed.Also they will probably ask a lot of questions since It is a surgery and be worried about me and all, but I guess ill go open about it and tell them straight up like I told my family.

As long as you don't have a extreme case of gyno you can always fill it out by building bigger pecs.
