My forearms are long as fuck compared to my upper arms, and I keep reading that they're the absolute biggest dealbreaker when it comes to weightlifting, providing no mechanical advantage and only creating a ton of big disadvantages. Even heard that Polish screening process for children automatically disqualifies any kid with long forearms, no matter what other good perks he may have.

But who cares? no one here will ever go to the olympics because:

A) They're not on the drug program that everyone else is on
B) They're not naturally built for it
C) They don't have an actual coach telling them exactly what to do
D) They just don't have the genetic potential for the necessary LBM to get strong in their respective weight class
E) They didn't start young
F) They have other things to do besides lifting

Thought it was the best way to combine lifting and sports. I took a 2.5 month beginner course and then continued to lift in an oly gym

Practice naked in the mirror. Practice while holding a dumbbell in front of you (goblet squat). Try to understand what hip hinging feels like. DO NOT limit your knees. If they want to go out past your toes, just let them. Youll be more upright

Just homegym m80, I got a barbell and some weights secondhand for less than 100 euros at my parents place so I can lift even when I'm not at my usual gym. Its not ideal, but it's a start and you can get pretty far with enough practice.
