What do you guys do other than lift? I have literally no other hobbies besides browsing the web and going to the gym. pls help a brother out

Try model building. Its a fun knick knack creation, perfect for people like us.

Maybe use all that free time to pick up an instrument?

when i'm not at work, or the gym, i masturbate

Model building is based

Read

i play MtG, but its expensive as fuuuuuuuuuck

Basically this.

>work
>gym
>edge myself until i fall asleep

How much disposable income do you have?

RC planes/boats/cars

Either that or learn how to work on your car.

Write poetry. It sounds sissy, but it can help you vent your emotions when exercise isn't enough.

I'm a beach bum

read books user

or get really into cooking

videos
games
programming
pornograpy
programming pornographic videogames

Rugby and BJJ.

Rugby requires a little more social interaction so it's probably not the best for you yet, but I seriously can't think of a nerdier sport than BJJ (perhaps table tennis). Don't get me wrong, I fucking love it, but it seems to attract the basement-dwelling crowd for some reason, and the chads who practice it have a no bully attitude. Maybe because the largest clientele is that kind of people so the instructors would be really pissed if they started losing customers because some Chad faggot antagonized them.

Draw, play vidya, lift

The holy trinity

>fishing
>cooking (often including the aforementioned fish)
>day hikes
>learning languages (spanish, german, swedish, esperanto)
>amateur astronomy/star gazing
>plant identification
>squat plug collection

Banjo, reading, rock climbing, entomology

Cyclist, and in the winter I do a bit of skiing

- drumming (& other small live music stuff around nyc)
- low-key japanese street fashion (visvim, undercover, etc.)
- traveling (been doing solo travel recently, just got back from 9 days in kyoto)
- started improv classes at ucbny, gonna take sketch classes soon (the comedy community in ny seems to be very friendly and welcoming, in case you're looking for friends and something fulfilling to do after work)

i'm a civil engineer so anything creative or physical i get to do after work is a godsend

I draw lewd fetish porn on deviantart

dont tell my gf

programming (doing it as a job kind of killed it as a hobby)
cold approaching females
reading
cooking
dancing

Martial arts, doing another degree by distance because my original career path made me want to kill myself, being a freemason

I jerk off sometimes

>>drumming
>>vidyas
>>drinking
>>hanging with my bros when i can
And coming soon..
>>hanging out with my soon to be born son

Looking for new hobbies but nothing catches my attention since my gf keeps thinking everything i do is to get girls-.-

Don't let your gf do that user seriously, do you, be happy, tell her you love her and wouldn't have a son with her if you didn't

If she loves you she should let you be happy doing the things you enjoy

Programming, cooking, reading, vidiya, mtg with friends, making music. Fun times.

Take Xanax and do bad shit with my friends. Play with my pupper

>rock climbing
>fencing
>reading
>learning a language

Keeps me pretty busy

Why not learn an instrument? It takes the same patience that weight lifting does.

I play the piano, vidya, and occasionally watch animu. If I still lived near the trail, I'd cycle too.

Vidya, beer and lifting are about my only hobbies. Occasionally watch some anime as well.

dont fall for this and start reading schopenhauer ull want to kill yourself kek

Drawing
Pls no ban me

I feel.

Read! Holy shit, there are TONS of fucking good books out there.

Go check out Veeky Forums for their top recommended books to start off with, but no matter what, start off with The Great Gatsby. Many boards agree that that book is easily the best Western Novel ever written.

Read that, then move on from there.

>nice

Have one with just the bear?

...

Thank you user, now my gf will know I'm fully no homo

fishing
surfing
skateboard
cooking
swimming
running
reading
hiking

pretty much all things i do by myself coz i have very few friends but at least they make me feel good

I surf a lot, but practically impossible if you don't live anywhere close to sea

Well my other hobby is jacking off to JAV.

Your gf's son you mean?

Climbing it's super fun. Benefits include mad forearm gains, having an interesting hobby, it's easy to make friends at climbing gyms. Bonus- qts abound. Also try picking up an instrument, even if you're shit it'll help you relax.

any sort of biking, usually just with my friends on trails

photography, which is the biggest contender for my gym time. I usually just go on shoots during the weekend or rest days.

my doggo

I feel like we met in the psychiatric hospital half a year ago.

climbing is super counter-gym but good if you like it bud. I climb buildings and roofs but I have no actual skill aside from confidence.

>climbing is super counter-gym
no it isnt you fucking retard

yeah it is you fucking retard.

It doesn't build any strength and you won't be going to a normal gym in that time little dyel faggot

>it doesn't build any strength
yes because it requires none to lift your own weight up a wall against gravity
dumbass

not the guy you're responding to, but pic is one of the top climbers in the world

climbing helping with gains, or providing forearm mass is just a meme perpetuated by the countless retards like yourself on this board

>ctrl-f football/soccer

damn all of you are pathetic

This is the top swimmer in the world, I guess swimming is "anti-gym". Nevermind the fact you can find plenty of college or even high school swimmers with a better build than that.

The anti-sport meme on this board is getting retarded at this point. Basically anything that doesn't involve you getting as big as a cow is anti-gym, anti-gains and bad for you.

>Surfing
>motorcycle repair
>travel (this is a meme hobby, but still an amazing thing to do)
>learning about things (not a hobby, but you should be doing this)

My hobby used to be video games but I stopped playing them completely and now I'm a full-time Veeky Forums shitposter.

Cooking, reading contemporary/classic literature, learning to dance, exploring restaurants in NYC, vidya while listening to educational podcasts

This a in seems like a cool dude

>The anti-sport meme
It's not anti sport to say sports don't build muscle mass m8.

He didn't say sports don't build muscle mass, he said sports are anti-gym, as if the sole purpose of a gym was to become some 250lbs "bearmode" freak and not to improve fitness in general.

Literally just find some thing that you think is interesting and may be vaguely beneficial to your life and just go do it.

Personally, I rock climb, mountain bike, play guitar, play chess, I'm always reading some book on history, economics and/or philosophy, I read classic literature, I'm just now getting into coding to see if I can do anything interesting with that. I'm also always working on some home improvement project.

I just do my best to stay busy and always do interesting things. I know I'm going to die one day and I want to do my best to experience everything that life has to offer.

Got any recommendations for squat plugs? My current one is getting a little too small with all my gains lately.

*tips fedora

I got into beach volleyball. Most people lift anyways and full qt3.14s in bathing suits, equipped with nice legs and ass from all the squatting and lunging.

lol
I read and write a lot.

>vidya
>work
>cook
>watch (good) tv

Other than lifting I read, learn about/practice music production and DJing, play video games (although now I kind of just read and watch stuff about new games more than I actually play them) and play board games when I'm with friends. Been learning some new recipes and how to cook too.

What kind of models do you guys build? I was into Gundam models when I was younger and was thinking about getting back into it. I also built some of the harder Lego sets recently and it was pretty satisfying.

Doesn't even have to be poetry. Just write what's on your mind. If your mind feels "cluttered" or you can't stop thinking about something it really helps to just put it on paper. You'll also come to some new realizations/understandings while you're in the process of articulating your thoughts.

I make music and I dj, would like to make it a part time job but will see. Bouldering is fun also but I don't do it enough to call it a hobby but I'd like to do it more often.

That book was shit. Way to simplistic

>best Western Novel
best American novel

It's shit m8, all about dat 1984

I collect flags, buy cheap old vintage bicycles and restore them, chop my own firewood for my cabin, built my own sauna at the cabin by hand from trees I felled, paint, write sci-fi erotica that I sell under a nom de plume, and make beer cans dance with my Ruger 10/22.

Bro how do you not have friends? All of those hobbies mentioned have a large following. I'm sure there's someone near you with the same interest.

I've always wanted to play soccer. I'm 25, is it too late to join an adult league or something?

Nah, I have friends with bad knees in their 40s who play soccer.

Right on. I've never played the sport though, I'm assuming they teach the basics. Just curious.

Yeah, look for an amateur league in your city. They should get you going from there.

Ive tried telling her that, but it doesnt get to her:/
It looks like its going that way haha

just read books and learn how to program, that's pretty much all you need in life along with exercising.

I rebuild old sports cars. My current project is a 1967 Corvette Stingray. I also have a 1954 Willys Jeep, but it needs to be sandblasted. Pic related:

What can I do with programming? What's the point if I won't be good at it?

where do you live can we be friends

How do you like civil engineering so far?

What kind of music you make?

>edge myself until i fall asleep

what the fuck are you ernest hemingway

From a productivity standpoint, learning to program was one of the best things I learned to do. If I find myself doing something often, I just write a macro for it, and never have to do it again.

Finish all my work on Monday and Tuesday, and I get to spend the rest of my week getting paid to shitpost. Or in meetings... Or shitposting while sitting in meetings.

read, write poems/song lyrics, draw, paint, play guitar, learned how to grow psilocybin, me and my dog are best buds, surf, hike, kayaking. Made a homemade projector screen and designed a home theatre which was fun.

None of which are terribly special i'll admit, but it's a good life. Been thinking about gardening and learning more about home decor. A zen rock garden would be glorious.
