How is my sumo form looking?

Is it normal to feel it in your pecs during lockout for sumo deadlifts?

Also this deadlift set I felt in my hams/glutes a lot more than normal.

1. work on getting wider, don't be satisfied with that pseudo-sumo crap
2. keep your knees out. i suggest paused deadlifts right off the floor, during the pause make a mental note of your knees and if they've come in, push them back out.
3. stay back. when you start to pull your shoulders shoot forward, as do your hips. i suggest paused deadlifts right off the floor, make a mental note of your shoulder and hip position, fix them, then finish the lift. also before you start pulling make sure your shoulders are in the right place and actively work to keep them there, for me i cue "raise your big toe" so that the weight can't come forward.

knee lockout and hip lockout timing look pretty good though, except on the second to last rep. quick knees!

Thanks for the constructive advice. I'm still pretty new to sumo, so I need to work on it a lot.

My conventional is so bad. I always round my back even at 75-80%. My sumo max seems to be going up past my conventional (415) too, so I'm happy with it.

You use them to brace when you brace your lats too, so it's not uncommon. Sometimes it's caused from having a narrow grip, like with boardshorts, but your grip width seems normal enough

I think it's more that I started eating big 2 months ago and running C6W. Up 6-7 lbs in the last 2 months.

I posted this 2-3 weeks ago and everyone told me I needed to bring my stance in a lot.

Rewatched it. He could deal with scooting his feet out MAYBE a half-inch each. Knees are almost directly over his heels, but you're right that they're a hair outside.

seriously, paused deadlifts though.
i think the half inch thing is the bare minimum, anything past that is personal preference.

Your chest, specially the lower fibres, also perform shoulder extension along with the lats. So yeah, you can theoretically "feel it" in the chest, specially close to the lockout where the chest has a better line of pull on the bar.

But don't worry too much about what you "feel".

The shoulder extension doesn't look too bad, bar is always close to you which is good.

You gotta work on the hip external rotation mobility though, and a better starting position. Your knees get out of position as soon as the bar leaves the floor. While some forward movement of the knees (hips getting out of rotation) is fine, in your case if puts the bar out of position in relation to your shoulders and the posterior chain.
Some of the reps were decent, some were worse. Work on improving consistency.

And you need more spinal erector strength senpai.
