Its the smallest possible Progression as I don't have lighter plates. As you already know I can't progress faster on bench anymore.

The powerlift 2s aren't that squishy, from what I've heard. The first lot of powerlifts, on the other hand, had a bad rep for buckling under serious weights.

after several years of use by my older brother, and then me, i think the heel is starter to wear down enough such that it comes up in one of the shoes when i squat.

they are plenty good but are wearing down from use now.

They stopped my knees feeling like shit and my 1rm went up about 10kg, don't know what else to call it

allows more knee travel and more bounce out of the hole
