I think it just depends on your body fat. I think I'm around 12-13% right now (don't really know), so for me to look really shredded I'd probably need to lose ~7 lbs down to 168. I think as long as you don't go above 15% bf it's pretty easy to cut back down to having abs.

ok, just getting back to my pre-deload numbers. the 3-6 range means on a bad day i can still work out and make some gains without risking failing sets.

the switch to paused bench has been tough, but i feel it's led to better muscle development and better tightness at the bottom

Should I move up in weight? I am already over to 220 weight class. Instead of dropping five pounds I was thinking of gaining about 15 and being in the high end of the 242 class

I switched to only doing paused bench 2 months ago. Every single rep is paused now, even AMRAP and sets of 8+.

My e1RM has gone from 200 to 228 in those 2 months, so I'd say it's working pretty well.

At 165 those number are 74 pounds away from being elite. It's 99 pounds away from class 1 in the 242 class. Which is still really good.

Just finished up W3D1 today and i had to tng everything besides the first reps of triples because I was scared of failing

some guy was completely overexaggerating how hard W3D1 was a couple weeks ago. it wasn't easy but not extremely difficult either

Just finished week 1 on my 3rd cycle, so I guess I've been running it for 9 weeks now. I finished W3D1 both times before with pausing every rep. It's definitely the hardest day, but if you're getting stronger it's not impossible.

W3D1 was hard for me, I got the 4x3 but the 3x8 killed me.

yeah every other day was pretty easy and I could solidly pause every rep but the difficulty just shoots up that day. I maybe could've paused the 3x8 if I took a nap between sets but I was running low on time
