Used to go when it was as empty as possible, week days around 9, 10 or 11am on my days off.
If i had work i usually clocked out by 2pm, speed to the gym and do my workout until 4pm because fuck peak hours.
Met a qt swimmer, she can only go during peak hours on week days, we usually do legs when its too full because "lol all the gym bros dont do legs lol", we do upper body on most weekends
