ITT : Exercises you've never seen anyone other than yourself do at your gym

>ITT : Exercises you've never seen anyone other than yourself do at your gym

Me :
>Pallof press
>Stir the pot
>Facepulls (but a couple guys do rear delt rows)
>Nordic ham curls

can't think of one to be honest

I've seen everything done

none, because I don't have any silly exercises in my routine.

Dragon flag raises.

OHP

Nobody's as functional as you, user.

I do dumbbell pullovers, don't see them done very often.

I do weighted lunges and step-ups (1pl8 +) rarely see men doing this, see women do it with lol20lbs

everything else I do is pretty standard

>other people
>at my gym

kek

home gym master race

Pallof presses are a GOAT core exercise that teaches you how to brace and they're a really useful tool if you want to squat or DL high weights.
Stir the pot are pretty good for your abs and stability, and are more challenging than planks.
Facepulls are essential for shoulder prehab and I don't see any reasons not to do them (except if you're already doing band pull-aparts and shit).
Nordic ham curls are better than machine leg curls imo.

Ty bby

>Overhead carries
>One arm barbell shoulder press.
My gym has actually become pretty diverse.
Or maybe I'm falling behind

Planks
Low-bar squats
The only dude I ever saw doing a pullover was an old dude in a sweatshirt.

it was "arnolds favorite chest exercise" supposedly

idk I find it helps with the upper part of the pecs, I superset them with flies at the end of my chest day

fucking love nordic ham curls, they force you to contract like nothing else. thanks for reminding me i havent been doing them

Low bar squats
Front squats
GHRs
Push press
Good Mornings
Sumo DL

I'm not even joking

Barbell flyes

Anything technical is non existent at my gym. But, we do have a ton of fags who just fuck around and think they know the technical stuff. Think about that Veeky Forums comic form new years. Stuff like that.

That chick is a fucking qt3.14xinfity

When I do sword training using a barbell so I can get the physique of Guts from Berserk. I do 100 perfect form cuts and slowly add clipped weight to the bar to simulate a heavier sword.

Post body.

One other guy in my gym does it, and he's the one who got me into them. Best single core workout right there

deadlift, seriously

>sumo
Kek my girlfriend pulls sumo you faggot

Are you me?
Know whats worse?
>no one does overhead press
>no one does full squat
I don't even

Same at my gym depending on the time of day. If I go before 8am is a fairly common sight, since nearly all the guys there are older men who've been working out for years.

If I go afterwards though, it's something I never see done. And when I do them I get people staring at me one I get to my 4pl8+ sets. To them that's crazy, to me it's borderline average/good

Front squats.

shrugs and weighted dips/pull ups, they're all noobz, too fat or not doing body-weight exercices

zottman curls

Farmer Walks
Power cleans
Weighted dips

Squats, deadlifts and power cleans.

Pendlay row
Front squat

I used to do them when i lived abroad, but this idk, 40 yo roider told me that it was fairly useless, i'd feel a burn but it wouldnt do shit. Seeing as i was a skeletor at the time i took his advice. Does it actually do much? Or was he right in telling me it didnt?

face pull

spellcasters

Only ever seen 1 other guy do cleans.

wizard flys

hip thrust
OHP

I get insecure when I do hip thrust.. looks lewd a f desu

Suitcase Deadlift
Front Squat

Overhead deadlifts and genova curls

>stir the pot
Bitch, do that shit in the kitchen. Goddamn I'm trying to workout in the gym.

Barbell flies

>zottman curls
Can't beat that god-tier whole arm pump at the end of a workout.

Press and Curl - it's a kettlebell exercise of my own design that's sort of like a windmill but using two kettlebells rather than one. Basically, press with one arm, followed by a curl with the other and reverse.

this thread is just full of dyel retards doing some random obscure exercise they found on the internet and thinking they're superior for doing it, when it basically does nothing over regularly done exercises.

Downwards dog yoga with pushups rotation
Oblique kettlebell lifts
Weighted situp russian twists
The leg machine

Pause Deadlft
Deficit Deadlifts
Pause Bench press
Spoto Press
Incline Bench with suspended kettlebells
Weighted Muscle up
Depth drops
Static holds with Barbell for grip

I guess technically that means every single workout.
sometime my gf does some deadlifts if that counts.

For a moment I read "Low bar front squats"
That, I would understand.

>not reverse cable thrusts

Cleans
Jerks
Snatches

You're not allowed to drop the weights
Fuck you, I still do.

You mean "zercher squats"?

Dragon flags are a pussy version of levers

Behind the neck press
Hack squat (behind the back deadlift)
Good mornings
Face pulls
Pin press
Pin squat
Pause squat

Deadlift

Really, I'd have thought you see people pin all the time.

Hungarian Pec Deck
Stiff Legged Squats
Narrow Grip Hammer Curls
Reverse Ham Curl
Ab Kickback
Shoulder Curl
Forearm Raise

>Muscle ups

I can only do 1 atm though lmao.

wew lads

I do a move I call the "Shuriken" where I throw plates like deadly shurikens at a trampoline i position opposite myself. If I can dodge or catch the Shuriken, i get a point. if not, i start back from 0 until i can reach 10 points, at which point i up the weight.

I created my own system where if I win 10 easy bot games in a row, I would move onto medium, if I won 10 mediums, I'd move onto hard, and if I won 10 unfair games in a row, I'd queue up for a real match thinking I'd be ready for it. If at any time I lost a match, I'd be knocked back a difficulty until I completed 10 more games of that difficulty. So far I've only beaten unfair bots 10 times in a row twice. This is the only way I'm able to psyche myself up to play with actual players in a real game.

Even though I have anxiety I still want to get better at this game. Is there another way for me to improve?

Master yourself, master your opponent

same here
are you brazilian?

All of them because home gym.

>Pallof press
>Stir the pot
>Nordic ham curls

I've never heard any of these exercises but it seems to be actually good, thanks

huh, satan endorses zottman curls.
neato

Incline bicep curl

>barbell hack squats
I can't say this often enough, the fucking smug-look-turning-sour on people's faces when you hack squat and work up to their deadlift max is priceless

High pulls, pendlay rows, and farmer walks are the only things I can think of. Probably some dumb shit like reverse cable flies that I just don't notice people doing because I'm not near cables much.

I almost never see OHP with strict form, or any sort of oly anything even standard cleans.

I dont think ive seen anyone do anything besides abs, arms or bench in y gym? i saw a guy do romanian deadlifts and another person do smith machine squats but im pretty convinved im the only person who ever uses the power cage

> Deadlifts
> Squats
> Free bar Bench press
> Barbell OHP
> Barbell Rows
> Cable Crossovers
> Weighted/Unweighted pull ups

I wish I was kidding. Really, really wish I was kidding
Never have to wait for equipment at least

what the fuck kind of gym do you go to? i bet you are pooinloo

>wrist curls
>reverse grip curls
>pullovers

Farmers walks
Face pulls

lateral raises

no idea why

Because no one wants to be seen struggling to lift a 10 pound dumbbell.

It's a new one in Belgrave, Australia. The whole area has that "hipster/mum" vibe to it. The place runs a tonne of classes. That's what most people do

wrist curls are goat.

I'm literally the only one that does OHP. it's so fucking strange

ive only seen one girl squat
ive seen one dude flat bench
i never see anyone deadlift

the fucking gym i go to everone just uses dumbells and the machines???

what the fuck man???? how do these people not do the basics.the god damn pillars of weightlifting

Trappy worship. At least i know I'm the only autist at my gym

i've been going to the gym for 2.5 years so far and i havent seen any of the following

i have never seen a girl once do any exercise that wasn't leg based. almost every girl i see walks into the smith, squats, and then leaves. that or the occasional goblet squats or lunges.

never seen anyone do OHP with barbell except for this Veeky Forums 58 year old man who reps 1.5pl8 for warm up

never seen anyone wrist curl

never seen anyone clean (or any explosive movements)

rarely see anyone do any shoulder work (lateral raises, shrugs, etc.)

never seen anyone do reverse bicep curl.

never seen anyone do supine lat pullover

>>Stir the pot
>>Shine the shoes
>>Wax the car
>>Clean the fence
>>Park the car

My gym is pretty cool, the owner competes (in bench only), I'm not sure what his max is but I've spotted him when he was doing 220x7.

Anyway:
>sumo deadlift

And that's about it. A few people deadlift, nothing crazy, I think 5plate was the most I've seen. EVERYONE benches (how do you even find a gym where there is one guy doing flat BP?). I don't do that much exotic lifts so there is that too, but yea, I've seen many lifts done here.

i do seated shrugs. started doing them cos i fucked up my lower back and couldn't stand up with enough weight. back healed, kept doing my shrugs seated.

Joined a 24h slow gym with mostly upper/middle class whites and hispanics so:
>fucking conventional deadlifts, everyone does sumo
>dips
>weighted chins
>face pulls
>pendlay rows
>Lateral raises with proper form
>hanging leg lifts

>tfw don't know the names for any of the exercises
I-- I wanna Veeky Forums in, too...

glute ham raises using the lat pulldown seat

>nobody does barbell flies

MFW I do them and take everyone's gains.
