Are you telling me that lifting insanely heavy weight is not safe ?

...

>lifting over half a ton
>safe

pick one
still though, mad props, this guy's a beast

Could a DYEL silverback beat him, Veeky Forums?

This should be a call to quit allowing straps for these events.

>burst blood vessels
OH NOES DID HE DIED
>well no he's just fine
>a bit tired but then who wouldn't be under the circumstances

OP is a humongous faggot

youtube.com/watch?v=BrE9MJn0lss
these will become more common if that happens (it won't, now or ever)

Second favorite reaction ever

So what if it's not safe?

W-what about a quarter ton

Never do maxes, never do low rep sets or you will bitch about your injury then lose 5 months of gains

Yeah, the straps lifted 1100 pounds. Faggot.

...

FUCK that's badass

No nigger will EVER deadlift this much

fucking eddie hall man

He probably did not take enough creatine before he started lifting.

neither will you

Christ, you're fucking stupid.

I know it WON'T happen... not until people die on the platform due to aneurysms, anyway.

Not an argument

Hearty kek

>weightlifter
Lazy ass normie reporter.

Set a new world record, this man is amazing.

the damage might have permanent effects though.

Bursting blood vessels in the nose is super common and not a big issue at all.

This is all just for the publicity.

this is a very strong dwarf

I pick lifting

Burst some blood vessels in tour head with a pistol

Eddie Hall is my husbando

He's 6'2"

fucking madman

Wow really makes you think

>LMAO 9PL8

It's like when studies shows boxers getting brain damage.

its 12 those are 25 kgs

>2016
>you don't even deadlift 12pl8

Just out of curiousity, what elevation above sea level is allowed to break records? The higher up you go, the less shit weights.

I doubt the difference would be more than a pound, even if you went all the way up to Mt Everest.

probably took too much desu

Straps, Hitching, Bouncing, No Lockout. How's this a deadlift? Should be called a strongmanpull or something else.

hahahahahahahaha oh fuck listen to yourself

He didn't lockout....? Judges can we get a replay...

Damn dog good argument, ahhaha listen to yourself!

get a load of this fucking guy

Just because the filthy trap posts a video doesn't make the video itself bad.

*strong midget

what do niggers have to do with this thread?

>implying you can pull even half of that before reaching snap city

Naaaa, lifting weights that can crush your bones can't possibly be bad for you.

>1/4 of that b4 snap city
fify

Why? what difference is it going to make?

I feel kinda dumb for asking this but, is he juicing? If so, why isn't he slimmer, if not, why doesn't someone who does lift more than that?

...

Does anyone have the edit where it just shows him lifting two plates then falling on the ground with no context?

I think he's trying to say removing the limiting factor of grip strength is what makes the lift dangerous. If you can hold what you lift you'll probably not burst blood vessels doing it

>two plates
you maybe mean 1pl8, newfriend?

Kill you are self

Thing is, none of these guys are limited by grip strength. They've had 1100+ frame carries and such in competition before and all the 1k pullers in strongman have done near or over that number in powerlifting comps.

>500kg

whats the point?
oh wow you can lift 500 kg oooh.

who gives a shit. Hes not even in good shape.

Right, that, one set of plates.

there's this guy again

Fuck i burst some in my nose when i was squatting 430 about a month ago. Just kept lifting. Its super common. Just make sure you dont get loght headed from it

Benny pulled without straps so he's the real king imo.

Post some pics. I would live to see your current progress. Also my trap girlfriend looks up to you lol

AYY ITS CAPTAIN POTPOURI GOOD TO SEE YOU I WAS HOPING YOU WOULD SHOW UP
kys tripfaggot

>all that jelly

And when he competes in strongman, benni pulls with straps. Which, considering his PRs in the two are within a few kilos of each other, should tell you how much difference straps make.

>6'2''
>not a dwarf
will manlets ever learn?

I was implying that B could pull that in a powerlifting competition, unlike guys who pull with straps, still you have to be a dumbass not to aknowledge that wether straps or not Eddie just set a new world record.

In my experience it'd be pretty damn rare for a strongman to be unable to pull their deadlift weight without straps. They might have trouble in powerlifting comps because of their form but almost never their grip.

So why do they use straps if they can do without them?

Yes he is and he isn't slimmer because the more mass you have the easier it is to move heavy weight. Its why fat powerlifters are a thing.

Not all juice is for making cookie cutter Barbie dolls

>Deadlift
>He suffered injuries that might be fatal

No one gets to tell someone holding a record if their form is bad or not.

They literally become the embodiment of the most efficient and effective way to do it until someone beats the record.

>why would you drive to Poland when you can walk there?

Because it does make a slight difference (why risk grip being an issue?) and there's usually other events coming up afterward that will require grip strength and do not allow straps.

If you know the comp is gonna be something like deadlift/frame walk/log/stones, why tax your grip on the first event if you don't have to?

If Poland is next door it would be dumb to drive there, do you get my point?
>why risk grip being an issue?
Failed grip eliminates the risk of spinal injuries, your body works that way that if the weight is too much for your back, your hands would let it go.

I've seen far too many injuries in powerlifting and strongman to believe for a second that removing straps will stop people hurting their backs.

It would not stop, but it would lower the rates.

It would barely change anything. Powerlifters - you know, the guys who can't use straps in competition - have as many deadlift related back injuries as strongmen and most back issues in strongman don't come from deadlifting in the first place.

Spot the insecure white man

>and full of muscle

If you went high enough for it to matter, you would not be able to breathe anyway.

kek

>Mixed grip

Quite a good lift for a woman

>fat mass = strength
What
This is why people should be required to take a human anatomy class

You can hold more muscle mass at a higher BF (albeit with significant diminishing returns). Also strength is about leverage as well as muscle mass and on some lifts being heavier and/or fatter improves your force output that way.

>somebody deadlifted half a tonne and got hurt
>lifting at all is unsafe
Are you retarded or just a jealous DYEL?

>NO LOCKOUT
>NO LIFT

About to go to the gym, hopefully I make it back alive brahs!

The straps allow them to grip the bar further down thus decreasing rom and increasing leverage.

Both obviously just like most of Veeky Forums

not falling for this bait, desu

oh I know you, you're that guy/
>"hey user I'm about to go for a jog in the park and maybe do some pushups, you wanna come with?"
>"Hell no don't you know training is bad for you? that guy pushed himself beyond the limits of human strength got a minor, common injury. why would you want to put yourself in that kind of risk?"
enjoy being fat and weak bruh

>Trap
>Girlfriend

Kek

lol, 125kg is novice tier

>Are you telling me that lifting insanely heavy weight is not safe ?

FUCKING FRENCH FAGGOT, YOU LOST TO PORTUGAL. FEEL THE BURN!

Nobody understands this painting; so I'll explain:

>it's not a pipe because you cannot smoke it: it's a representation of a pipe, that's all.

125 kg dl is national record in my weight category >

>Massive thanks to protein Dynamix for supplying my body with all I needed to make this happen. Protein, creatine, bcaa's

Finally someone reveals his secret for lifting half a ton.
