if your goal is to be strong it's ok but almost every single person will choose looks over record holding strength. Honestly CNS adaptation is fully there after the first 3 months of lifting.

After that it's specialization, technique, and getting bigger muscles.

Once your CNS is primed, it's primed. You can crank it up slightly with stimulants, but that's about it.
