You hit the lats and to a lesser extent the back with weighted pull-ups. You hit the back and to a lesser extent the lats with rows and row variants. Then you hit the rear delts and improve posture through tensile strength with face-pulls. Then you do heavy snatch-grip deadlift to annihilate your upper back.

Is there any good video on how to do face pulls correctly? Never understood them and they often feel unhealthy to my shoulders or even hurt.

You only need to do a vertical lull and horizontal pull. Everything else is just extra.

Ideally that would be a barbell row and chin-up or pull-up, whatever you prefer, they're literally the same thing.

I do one arm dumbbell rows because I feel like they target my lats better

Is that a barbell row that begins and ends on a dead stop or that row where hinging at the hips and yanking the bar towards you?

Chin-ups hit the lats slightly harder than pull-ups do. Pull-ups hit the back slightly harder than chin-ups do. If you want back and lats, stick with pull-ups. If you want biceps too, then alternate weighted chin-ups and weighted pull-ups.

I'd start with rows and weighted pull-ups/chin-ups. Find your 5RM then progress linearly. Face-pulls are a light-weight accessory, do them whenever/wherever they fit with your routine.

I'd suggest saving snatch-grip deadlift for when you've built up a respectable weighted pull-up/row.

If you can do 3 sets of 8 with adequate rest, work towards 3 sets of 5 with 5 pounds. When you can hit that, add 2.5-5 pounds and try it again.
