Probably a couple factors. He has to run his business, which isn't exactly easy. And he neglects his upper body a lot, compared to his lower body. And the specificity of his training is different. He'll do PL, then strongman, and then take a few months for oly, etc. I'm sure there are even more.

He's not exceptionally anything though. And particularly not an accomplished coach. He just says very safe and unadventurous things (anything you can glean from any lifting literature) and is pretty charismatic. Just don't see the draw is all

At all. But I started lifting with planned progression so I really didn't have much of a "fuck around" period until I did a ppl for 6 or 7 wasted months.

The crazy swedish guy was the dude who posted yesterday that said "mirin my arch" and had a ridiculous arch. I think he brought his feet in really close while lying down on the bench, then just pulled himself up--as in, super, super far up--and then down, and brought feet in more.

I was doing backoff sets of bench and was too lazy to change back into my heels so I just used the flats and it seemed to me like I got better leg drive (or something).

I don't know what it is, I kept dropping in strength from week to week, missing reps even if I did a close weight at like rpe6 the same week etc.

How's your sleep, nutrition, programming, etc?

I realize sleep and nutrition was quite bad at the time.

Was doing SS. it was bizarre, like I'd do 77,5kg once, then attempt 80kg, get only a few reps, then next week not manage more than 70kg

Yes I think so too, my CNS fatigue remained and multiplied with cortisol due to poor sleep. It's really the only possible explanation because I have quite good muscle volume and have gained size quite easily.
Never happened with other lifts though, just bench
