I joined a fraternity back in college and the biggest thing they emphasized was no cargos. We really didn't give a shit what you wore but no cargos was a big thing. I've talked to plenty of girls who have since said they look ugly and so unflattering on guys. Never worn a pair since. Hiking though is another story
