how to i get into powerlifting ?
18 yo is too earyl to start ?

First for post hype music for diddlies

>mfw when I also are on a rest day

ME squats yesterday, ME bench tomorrow.

I started at 16

Okay so I have a question. I'm going to start doing Greg Nuckols 28 meme programs using the 3 day intermediate bench, 2 day intermediate squat, and 2 day intermediate deadlift. I don't like the front squats that have me do an 8rm with backoff sets, a 5rm with backoff sets, a 3rm with backoff sets, and a 1rm on the second squat workout of each week. Can I replace this with anything?

dino, lifting in the gym isnt powerlifting
you know this

Currently sipping on Monster Ultra with 2 scoops of PWO before my max effort upper...

Send help.

>Sheiko week 3 deadlift day today
>Look at the spreadsheet
Boris, can you stop trolling me and actually give me something hard soon? Please?

Inflate your maxes dumb shit

I've got to do my true max for 5x3 in like 3 days fuck

310kg/683lbs DEADLIFT PB on eleiko @ 82.5kg
Black plates are 50kg each, the feels are much heavier

youtube.com/watch?v=oN0dufb6G0Y

Change your name to Kbooey the Hedgehog and maybe I'll take you seriously.

I'll probably do a 10 lbs inflation after the first block if it's still feeling this easy.

Have fun dying though.

Everything feels heavy but I can still do the higher weights without issue.
60kg feels 100kg sometimes,but 100kg isn't a struggle, ya know

What's you max and what did you inflate it to?

100, 120

Just work on every rep being 10/10 in form and tightness. It'll get hard enough.

3x8 deads with 4pl8 today
got 8x2 speed pulls with 150kg next week
I'm sure this submaximal speed pulling based progression will work, but it doesn't half feel weird

I've actually never heard that one, I allow you to call me Kbooey the Hedgehog from now on, but only you, friend

High bar, SSB, beltless

what gear are you running at the moment?

>running sheiko
>100kg deadlift
Grill?

That's what I've been doing. It's still easy as fuck. Do you think a 5-10 lbs inflation after the first block is a bad idea?

Thanks, I was thinking highbar would be a good alternative. I always also thinking of a set x rep scheme similar to the lowbar. Thoughts on this?

Spurs, spirals and helicals

You must have some narrow hips to have your feet so close together. Nice pull though.

Show me your hype faces lads.

I was talking about bench
late reply was busy

If it feels too easy, you can inflate it by 5-10lbs. Just dont be scared to deflate it back if you start to get buried in fatigue.

Just shaved my balls. AMA
Immediate thoughts:
They look and feel a lot nicer
They're itchy as fugg

30inch waist checking in

Oh, okay. But there are triples at 80%. How the hell do you hit those with a max inflated that much?

Thanks for the advice. I hit 380x5 before I started this cycle, but only got 420 when I tested my 1rm. (I got greedy and went for 440 right after and barely missed it, so maybe my max is more like 430).

...

anyone familiar with jap grip on bench press?

For what purpose?.

Yeah. I inflated by 10kg initially. Today was my last day of the first block. I entered a max 10kg higher for the next block and my first session back is 5x3 at 100kg lol

I feel like I can do it. I feel like I got 10kg stronger.
If I don't try I'll never know. Worst case scenario I decrease my max by 5kg

To try everything at least once. But this is something I'll do again probably cause it feels less of a mess down there.

Fair enough, if it was for a girl I was going to call you a pansy faggot.

Lol if only there was a girl...

Lift until someone loves you.

What's your question? George is the better source fyi

post pics, before and after

just wanted to learn about it (how to do it, what r the benefits)
george?

Turn hands outward when holding bar. Pretty simple tbqh. Benefits are less stress on the wrist, allowing you to possibly move more weight because your wrist won't have to resist as much movement. Isley is George.

testing

comfy

I have no before picture though...

Panzer read

post only after, then

Which Sheiko blocks are you running? I want to start Sheiko after I finish my current program. When I looked it up the suggestion was 37, 30, 32 for large load but I have no idea if thats correct tbqh

...y

gr8 thanks dude
gonna try tomorrow

The goal is to get the bar to rest as low on your palm as possible. Good luck m8

Eh, I'd keep the s/r scheme intact. It's hypertrophy work.

>didn't train arms
>got arm pump anyway
Bench press > OHP

why not?

If I want to deadlift twice on TM, what rep scheme would you recommend if I do pause DL? Also on which days do I do the heavy DL?

I'm trappy and ppl will get mad

I'm running medium load, so it's 37, 31, 32. Today will be week 3 day 2 of 37.

The shaver is used on my balls is the same shaver I use on my face.

I didn't realise the implication and now it's ruined

pls post

U first

>America will never have more than 2 relevant parties in our lifetime

Are you ok? Do you have cancer or something? Are you dying?

Nice one senpaitachi

Are they only different on the second block? Under 80 is 37, 30, 32 instead, right?

You see

everything I say is relevant

you all are just too unintelligent to process it all

>you will never vote for the American Nationalist Party

Relevant != Reasonable

Medium load, or the over 80kg one uses 37v2 31 and 32v2, while the large load uses 37,30 and 32.

I havent had my second cup of coffee yet do not judge anything I type, that was supposed to be reasonable

>restating Duverger's law with meme arrows constitutes intelligence

How old are you? You look 16.

Thanks buddeh.

Even if I don't get my 100kg diddly I'm very happy with that

Ah, okay. Yeah I'm running medium load. I guess at the end if I feel like I'm recovering well I should try switching to large load for next cycle? Or should I run medium load until it pretty much stops working?

:^)

old enough to be graduating uni next year

>even if don't
But you will.

>This man is 1-2 years older than me

As long as youre recovering properly, more volume is almost always better. If you smesh the medium load and feel like you can handle more volume, go for the large load one.

The 37s are different, here parts of week three for u80kg

You're god damn right.

When I'm 60 years old and looking 50 you niggers are gonna be 60 looking 70

:^) enjoy yourselves

The fat helps fill out the wrinkles :^)

I bet I'm the best looking person in plg
Fillip a close second
Isley 55th

It's the grip style that Rip teaches on SS.

youtube.com/watch?v=CnBmiBqp-AI

Honestly, it's better to just inflate the maxes rather than switching to more volume.

Yeah, I just looked through them. Medium load has quite a bit less volume. I think I'm going to follow this advice: Only on week 3 and already excited as fuck for my skills test..

Why do you say that? I'm still small and need to grow, so lots of volume is good, right?

I have a 16.5 inch knee joint

what size SBD sleeves should I get?

You're growing plenty. There was a huge difference between your last two body posts

andersonpowerlifting.com/mobile/Product.aspx?id=40849

I bought xls and they're comfy

You should run high load unless you're as strong as fillip and can't progress

If this hasn't been posted before, it's Eddie Hall's 500kg routine (almost, a bit of guesswork where there are *)
Week 0 (warmup week)
65% 3 x 10

Week 1
70% 3 x 8

Week 2
60% 8 x 2 speed reps*

Week 3
75% 3 x 5

Week 4
60% 8 x 2 speed reps

Week 5
80% 3 x 3*

Week 6
80% x 1*
85% x 1
90% x 1 x 3 speed reps

Week 7
Deload*

Week 8 (competition)
85% x 1
93% x 1
100% x 1

It's ok, but it's not the program he ran

It's pretty close, if not exact. It matches the training vids he's posted and what he's said in interviews/seminars etc
