God damn it guys. What does it take? I want to quit Veeky Forums, I spend so much time here just getting mad and arguing with literal human trash. How do i stop?

I lurk every now and then when I'm extremely bored, but I quit being an active user a couple years ago.
Perhaps coincidence, but once I quit, my quality of life improved dramatically. Got laid a lot more, became more social, put more effort towards school/work. Have one more year left in my degree and currently interning at a large semiconductor company. If I've learned anything in the last 4 years, is that blaming and making excuses is what holds most people back from success. Honesty and accountability will get you far.
The general attitude on this site is toxic as fuck, honestly. There are some lulz to be had, which is the only reason I ever poke back in, but I truly believe the general negative, self-destructive atmosphere affects your real life state of mind. But I guess that depends how much you are actually on here.

I know the prevailing attitude is that this site is cancerous trash, and a lot of it is. What keeps me coming back though is the other anons. People are honest here in a way that they rarely are in real life, even amongst close friends. I've posted shit here I've never told anybody. It's easy to read too much into this place or use it as a coping mechanism for social autism but it definitely has its value. Sometimes it's just nice to commiserate with other disenfranchised lost young men who are concerned about their lives, the state of the world, and their place in it.
Oh also memes and happenings are a plus. Whenever big shit goes down I head over to /pol/. I've yet to find a better place for real time, unfiltered content and discussion.
