Making gains in Canada

Any other Canadians here?

How do you guys make gains while staying within budget? I swear food is so expensive here, like $6 for a lb of ground beef, what the fuck? I mostly eat milk, eggs, whey and oats/beans. But I want to actually eat meat more than once every few days, wtf

How do you guys do this, is there some trick to saving money or is this shit just fucked up?

A proper butcher sells ground beef lean for 3.99
They'll charge you more in chain supermarkets

NB here. I live right across from a discount meat store (victory meat market) so when chicken isn't on sale at sobeys or something I can get like 5 chicken breasts for 10 bucks and 2 pounds of lean ground beef for 15. Its not great but not terrible. I work a full time job and a part time job and a good portion of my check goes to grocery's. Lots of oats and frozen veggies my dude.

If your not white or native you can fuck off your not canadian go home to your own country.

How much do you spend on average?

I'm in Ontario

Yeah this is whatI'm thinking.

You can buy like 50lbs of beef from a butcher for quite cheap but idk where to store that shit, I don't have a spare freezer or the means to transport it
