The muscle fibres in the calves are slow twitching, hence you need to do a great number of repetitions to really work them. Honestly, just bodyweight is fine. You can do them in the shower after hitting the gym. Start with 100 reps, then add 5 every day. This is how i got mine to grow.

Start running. Do both long distance running and hill sprints. Add in deadlifts, squats, and calf raises for good measure. And make sure you are eating plenty of oats.

this, good calves are like 8-% genetic, dont worry too much about them though, unless you are like all tibia, then nobody will care that much. but walking, running, being active will help develope them

I will say it again, riding a bike at high resistance is GOAT for calves, mine aren't huge or anything but they're well developed and proportionate.
