Hey Veeky Forums, i'm trying to get in to engineering. Currently in highschool. I heard engineering is not at all creative/collaborative or interesting if you work for large companies.
Should I just get an engineering degree, work for a startup company so I get more freedom and see If engineering is what I want to do?

I've always thought owning a business is interesting, a business in youtube interests me because of how powerful media is.

At first, when I did not understand psychology and the cause of various behaviors in human beings, I thought that homosexuality was OK and just a choice, much like some people who claim that they have no sexual desire or interest in others. This was all fine and dandy until I noticed certain anomalies and patterns, things like 'childhood trauma', 'bad parenting' and so forth. I thought 'well okay, those are the exceptions', then I began to think that from a natural selection standpoint, these people should have or will stop existing at some point, because they're incapable of reproduction and thus cannot spread an orientation of the sort. I thought 'well okay, clearly it's just a human thing and it's just how diverse we are', then I found out that animals also sometimes do these things.

It then occurred to me that the presence of xenoestrogens in food and water, sedentary lifestyles and overpopulation are main driving points in these people, among the reasons I listed above. They're defective, plain and simple. A good chunk of them are degenerates, because they base their whole identities around a hedonistic lifestyle in which non reproductive sex dominates. They contribute nothing and will push for 'accepting gay people' via flamboyant parades which invoke a deep feeling of cringe as you see both adults and children purposefully dress in attention grabbing colors and generally refusing to grow up, calling all attention towards them and their 'plight'.

I'm not a monotheist or polytheist, I don't involve myself in any religious activity and look at each dogma as nothing more than systems that indoctrinate believers into upholding certain laws, tenets and etc of their land without question, due to a fear of some omnipresent entity. However, this does not mean that some principles found in holy books are automatically invalid.

I don't pay attention to people as much as I did when I was a kid, because I've concluded that we're all fucked and none of it matters.

Medicine is the only safe degree. Even Law is oversaturated as hell, only do law if you can get into the top law schools.

Trades aren't a sure thing either, but for now it doesn't have a giant pool of desperate and qualified young people driving wages down.

As a rule of thumb the people who do well in professional careers are those who had most of their studies covered by scholarships and bursaries anyway (even if daddy us the bursar). If you have to take out a loan to study you don't belong in the programme, you're just being used to feed the degree mill and cover the tuition of more talented students.

At the end? Yeah, of course it doesn't. The observations I wrote down were ones I had when I was a kid. I can't take anything seriously anymore, so at the end I wrote down my current thoughts.

Trades involving danger pay (mining, oil, underwater welding etc.) will easily have you clearing 6 figs. The other pathways to 6 figs in trade involve building your client base which has its own challenges.

And yeah a lot of normal tradesman make 30k, but so do most univerdity grads nowadays if they're even employed at all.

Blue collar jobs are great. I see job postings for apprentices (18 years old, only high school diploma required) that start at 12-16 an hour depending on the field and obviously you'd make more after being in the trade for a while.

If I was smart I would have worked one of those at 18 instead of going to college, getting debt, and working in a shitty office being unable to change careers now.
