I enjoy getting stronger and everytime I add more weight I feel fucking great. Buuuut, the mires play a big roll desu.

I work as a material handler at an airport so having a lot of strength helps with pulling +3000 lb containers.
Also looking good gets all the female pilots mirin'.

I like to get stronger. looking better is just a nice side-effect. I also think "normal" weight class oly/powerlifters look better than most "aesthetics"-fags I see. the lifters look more like athletes with a proportional physique rather than this huge arms/pecs/shoulders-thing many people aesthetics-fags go for.

Aesthetics is about low body fat you stupid weeb cunt. Go check out some elite powerlifters on instagram like John Haack, Jesse Norris or Taylor Atwood and you will notice they have

I'm an Older user. I lift for health, not strength or aesthetics.

I am more concerned about preventing injury when lifting so strength goals are secondary to maintaining form. Likewise I'm more concerned about proper nutrition than "bulking/cutting" but I err on the side of not getting fat.

If you train for strength you will get aesthetics. It's only a matter of bf%. The same can't be said for aesthetic training tho.

I lift for strength when it comes to The Press and deadlift because I enjoy being strong at them.
Everything else I train BB style.
