Day 2 of deloading and I'm really bored.

today's lifts

Squat 103kg 2x5
Bench 72kg 3x3 (feel i could have gotten 3x4 desu)
Deadlift 133kg 1x5
OHP 46.5kg 2x4

ACCESSORIES! all low weights for now, but will go up fast
Tricep push downs 40kg 3x10
Chinups 3x5
Pec Flys 40kg 3x10
ab curls 40kg 3x10

Korean gyms are pretty good, even if their lack of good bars and 1.25kg plates is irksome. I'm measured some non weight plates i can use if need be, clips are 0.5kg a pair, and some handles for the cable machines are 0.75kg each, so i'll use them until i get some 1.25kg plates shipped in from the UK.

I really think every single blog i read talked shit about korean gyms, and i think it's because they joined the cheapest gym possible and assumed everywhere was like that.

Not as bad as you'd think. My case isnt that bad either, I have ROM up to about 1/2"-1" above parallel.

Just feels like my femur is jammed in the socket when I hit depth. I was ignoring it for a while since on heavy sets you cant really feel it because of the relative intensity of squatting, but its starting to get worse while warming up. Did some research, and apparently if I keep it up I can get more bony growth, and a possible tear in the hip cartilage, so I'm gon be a partial repper on squats from now on.

All in all, a lot of people have it worse, but it still sucks to have to give up one of my favorite exercises.

Great excuse to put a ton of training volume onto deadlift though.

Why do I feel my glutes working when I sumo deadlift off the floor even though people claim that they are not supposed to be working until lockout?

Today i saw somebody benching and actually touching the bar to his chest, for the first time in the 6 times i've gone to the gym. Basically nobody uses free-weights except to do dumbbell rows and the worst half reps on the bench i've ever seen.

Koreans love to use machines, and to walk very slowly on the treadmills watching entire movies.

And if i see that barely out of dyel white guy teaching that tiny hungry skeleton whiteguy how to workout like some 90's bodybuilder using only machines and the smith machine, then use this thing for over half an hour looking like the worlds biggest retard (he looks like he's almost doing a tiny jog in place, has it on very low resistance and does it for ages) I may go mad.

Them, a huge guy in a hoodie and tracksuit with headphones on, and an older man who wears compression shorts to do calestenics are the only white people i have seen thus far

Today I dropped a five pound weight on my neck while working out. It hit the bone right where the shoulder and neck meet. I had sone pain and a little tingling/numbness in my hand on the side it happened. Now it just hurts like a bitch and is uncomfortable. I got a headache from it that has been coming and going. I do have chronic issues with the spot that I dropped it on due to a past injury. My pupils are fine and no bloodshot eyes or any blood. Am I going to be okay or what? Should I be worried.

Some guy came to me and said that I should put my legs wider and push my ass backwards. Basically he did sumo stance with low bar. Should I disregard his advice? It seems like sumo low bar is the only thing he knows

hard to tell without a vid, but if your not doing the olympic squat style, your stance should be wide enough so your calves doesn't "block" your hamstrings, i.e. you should land in between sort of

Well squat stance is the widest one out of all I do, the guy was basically putting his legs almost as wide as he could

Yeah it only gets easier as you lift longer. I sit around 95kg and compete 83kg. Usually dona 2 month cut.

Hard to say without seeing you squat but if that's your optimal stance you're probably gonna end up with it eventually anyway. Just try to find a "comfortable" and "natural" way to squat and it'll probably work out.

Sounds like you need to do some mobility to work. Also I'd suggest maybe seeing a physio for a check up just to make sure everything is alright.
