I think you're misunderstanding the term "overlook" . If there's my 10/10 in front of me and she loves me, but she has a little bit of loose skin, would I still date/marry her? Sure. But that doesn't suddenly mean that her loose skin still doesn't disgust me, or that I wish she didn't have it. The loose skin is still gross. Do her other qualities outshine the loose skin? Sure. But the loose skin still repulses me and doesn't make it suddenly attractive because we get along together.
