Okay, number one: please do not fucking take a mass gainer, please. Unless you know for a fucking fact that you will have the perserverance and determination that it takes to cut, do not.

I started at 130 lbs at like 5' 11 and now I'm 168 at 6 foot 1. I was working out with my friends 6 days a week, on the 7th day, we would run a 10k. You can eat a lot, but try to keep it clean. Just workout hard and supplement with nutrition.

This is where it went downhill. I was around 146, 147 lbs, ripped, 8 pack abs, but obviously still skinny looking. I took a mass gainer during the summer time and it really did work. I got good strength gains, got up to 155 lbs and gained a small belly v.s what I had before. Also, I was literally shitting like 3 or 4 times a day, lmfao. I remember going to the movies, shitting after the movies was over. I remember dropping off my mom at the airport, shitting at the airport before going home etc. Lol. Your life will consist of working out, eating, sleeping and a lot of shitting.

I then got injured and wasn't able to workout for a while. Because of the lowered metabolism after using the mass gainer, it just went to shit. Now I am not skinny per se, but I look skinny fat, so I'm just lifting for hypertrophy, but also doing cardio on the side.

TLDR: If you want to stay lean and muscular, just keep lifting heavy and eating right. Mass gainers are more suited to people who are used to bulking-cutting cycles, although they're aimed at us stupid, high metabolism skinny people who want to get big fast (end up looking skinny fat if things go wrong)

You're a fighter? That means you should know roughly what weight you want to end up at. Ask your coach.

Find your maintenance calories, if you already eat the same shit every day that's probably your maintenance, just count that, increase by 200 calories at a time until you stabilise at your goal weight. You can fairly easily gain several lbs a month doing this, just increase by another 200 calories every time. This way you won't gain as much fat and become less effective at fighting.
