I personally wouldn't advise it, the pain in your jaw is gonna throw you off especially if you clench your jaw like some guys do when lifting heavy, you may also be experiencing the effects of general anaesthetic if you are given it, which can cloud your mind.

Not to be a dick, BUT...
kind of like different PL feds having different standards, the guys hitting 5-600 lb deadlifts, squats, and really heavy benches, if they are done under their sports organization or uni sports testing, will often do them under pretty lax standards.
Even in my brother's hs he said that there were tons of football players with 400-500 lb "squats," i.e. unracking the weight and bending their knees and reracking it.
so keep that in mind.
The strongest (and fattest) guys at my D3 school probably bench mid 300s, squat 400s not to depth, and they dont ever deadlift really but at least 400.

Been on SS for 6 months now (i know may be too long) but im still making linear gains. Thinking of switching to the texas method after i inevitally fail again on squats
Current work load (no idea on 1rm since i havent had the chance to try myself on competitions and such)
Squat: 130kg 288.6lb
Bench press: 70kg 155.4lb
Deadlift : 110kg 244.2lbs
Ohp: 56kg 124,2kg

There's absolutely nothing wrong with switching over to Texas Method whenever you're ready.
You don't even have to wait for a stall. It's not like you're going to miss out on beginner gains or anything, that's kind of a stupid way to think about it.
Texas Method will be a good change of pace, and the variation will be a lot of fun.

Classic is going to appeal to more people because it's more accessible, cheaper, easier and people just don't like the idea of equipped, thus advertising raw lifting will grow the sport more and be more profitable for every company involved
