Pull-ups have less lat and rhomboid usage than chin-ups. If you're picking just one back exercise you need a pretty specific reason (such as being too immobile to fully supinate) to go with pull-ups over chins.

why are dips and pullups such god-tier exercises i mean, i believe it but it's like the biggest evidence God exists that he gave us two of the most based lifts and we can just do them whenever wherever- like our bodies are designed for that

How many reps on unweighted before it's a good idea to progress?

People will generally say 8+ or even higher. There's no real necessity for it (unless you're one of the people whose shoulders are bothered by heavy chins) but since they're normally an accessory lift there's not usually much to be gained from going really heavy.

I couldn't do anything past 3x8-10, managed to LP my way up to 60x3x5 with little issue on a steep deficit, albeit it was only once a week, shouldn't been too bad. You could probably manage with 3x6 as a minimum

guys I'm on sl 5x5 (but now it's 3x5 on most lifts) and progress has really slowed on squat and bench

I'm just below two months in so I don't think it's because I need to move to intermediate, but I'm at like 50/80/105/120 and it's getting really hard to up the weight, I'm failing sort of 1-2 times before I succeed in each one

what should I do to get back to the rate of progress I'm used to? diets fine (ish, I'm not particularly eating clean, but I'm eating big) and sleeps gucci, I would ask qtddtot but those guys give atrocious advice

i got to 120ish before i did a modified version where i did squats/ bench /rows on A and deads/ohp/fronts on B since the heavy squatting was just too much

it really depends on so many more factors than your height and weight but it can give you an insight into your body type

if you have really long legs at your height you won't get as far as someone who has a longer torso

if i was to guess i'd say at those proportions you might get 120-130kg but it's just a guess
the other thing is that if you don't care about your weight and you're just eating as much as you can to get stronger you'll do better than someone who is trying to either limit their weight gain or lose weight

even though the difference between 100 and 120 doesn't seem like a lot, the difference between 100 3x5 and 120 3x5, three times a week, it's huge

So I scooped him up, took him outside to the shed. I laid him gently on a couple of bricks, took a sledge hammer from the shed and euthanized it.

If I hadn't, he would have suffered for days, in pain and largely immobile in his cage.

My question is, should I switch to high bar for this phase? I've heard people use hb to build muscle and only do low bar when peaking. What do you think lads?
