Good feels thread

>finally deadlifted the bar

Ran my first below 50 min 10k today :D

Good for you man.

Thanks. Im only 2 weeks in but getting stronger every day. Next step - Squat the bar once.

Were you naturally at the strength to deadlift the bar or did you have to do some other exercises first to build up?

>gf and I broke up
>I want to die
>haven't killed myself yet though

amiright guy

Ive been doing bent over rows with 5lb dumbells to build up a strength base.

>leg pressed my shoes today

We're all gonna make it

>I have a gf

>finally able to bench press the blanket off me in the morning

OP please post pictures
My weakest friend deadlifts 80 pounds so im curious what you look like its not mean or anything

...

how exactly were you trying to deadlift it with just the bar? the form would get all messed up because the grip would be so low to the ground

I'm so confused right now

How do you deadlift 0lbs?

I'm one full week alcohol-free

I think OP's memeing us

I finally squatted lmao2pl8 for a full set of 3x5 and it felt great.

Also hit 1pl8 bench, also for 3x5.

Feels fantastic, man.

My first 10k took 90 min..:(

OP Here

I get a big guy to set the bar on some encyclopedias I bring

this is not me. im 6'0 110 pounds

I finally ate a food item today! Skelly be gone!

>6 foot
>60kg

Op...are you ok...

currently I lift 110 lbs for 30 reps (3 sets). rate

It's cool bro
I Was 6'3 130 lb

You'll make it.

I'm in the same place man. Don't give up.

Yeah really.

Im not /fit

Im 3 months in

But i see many posts in here
>when I first started i was only benching the bar

Like what the fuck, how did your tiny frame even support you?

>I started deadlifting/squatting with just the bar

What the fuck, unless you were learning form, or had someone teaching you form, or going for some lightweight/high rep meme, what the fuck?

I seriously dont want to be insensitive, cause i know everone starts somewhere, but how can you push 95lbs over your chest, or pull it off the floor?

>he doesnt think people can be this weak
No, I fucking dont.

Ive already hit that bench.

Cant fucking wait to squat lmao2pl8

When people ask me, i just wanna hear myself say "225."

Even though thats dyel, fuck you, its an accomplishment for me.

>down 40 pounds, best shape since i was six

still overweight, but at least i dont have that "fatty face" we all see on lards,

>did barbell flies
>didn't crack my ribs

>training to get red card certification
>walked 3 miles in 45 minutes wearing 45 pounds in my pack
>was going to stop at 1.75 miles but i pushed myself

I'm on top of the fucking world

>did inverted hanging squats
>actually executed a rep
Feels good

lmao nigga when I benched for the first time, I could only finish benching 5x5 with 50 lbs total.

for people that didn't go outside in highschool or have been sedentary for their entire lives, this shit is real

I just....alright.
Like I said...I'm not a fuckin' monster, I'm benchin 145, but i didn't start at 45 either.

I guess I discount that I was in the service for a long time, and even though it's all calisthenics, it was something.

It just.don't seem, likely, you know?

But what do I know.

I'm legit progressing slower than your grandmother.

Nigger there are people who never went to PE, sit on their ass at work and at home and few 1st world countries have mandatory draft

>Squatted my shirt AND hat
Gettin swole

Nicely done. I still can't comprehend how someone can't start with the bar deadlifting. I mean all the other compounds make sense, but deadlifting is literally picking something off of the ground.

>squatted while imagining there was a bar today

We're all gonna make it

One of my friends girlfriends was so excited when she managed to deadlift 20kg.

I just can't stop thinking that there are people out there that can't carry a bag of fucking cement.

Eat
Eat
Eat
Eat
Sleep
Gym
Repeat

I ran distance all throughout highschool. So I had the minimal amount of upper body muscle possible. Lower body, too. When you're burning calories by running miles upon miles every day, and eating like a bird, you have essentially no muscle mass.

First time I benched, I was 5'8'' 120lbs, and I could barely get up 55lbs for 6 reps. Putting 75lbs on the bar legitimately scared me.

First time I squatted, I struggled with 85lbs.

People can legitimately be weak as fuck. Which is one of the reasons I hate talking about my lifts and how long it took me to get there
>tfw people who were active their whole lives hit a 2pl8 bench in 1 or less year
>tfw I've been lifting for a year and my ORM is 185lbs

>Depression is completely cured thanks to lifting
>people overtly mirin
>friends are starting to want to get into fitness after seeing my progress
>making friends is becoming trivial as fuck. Literally just stand around looking Veeky Forums and friendly
>found a gym bro to go running and shit with

All I'm missing is the girlfriend but that's more my problem because I sabotage any relationship I'm in for the prospect of a new one. Helping my friends want to be fit is the best feel of all though.

Was cyclist. Went from 6'0 135 to 186. Thanks Tren!

is this ironic or are you this weak?

I've only been in the gym once
>Auschwitz mode
>Bench 30kg
>Deadlift 80kg
>High bar back squat 40kg
All lifts 5x5 reps
10/10 wud gym agen
