Squat Balance

Whenever I go to squat, I can't help but stumble backwards, whilst using a barbell on my shoulders... I can squat fine whilst using plates underneath my heels but other than that, I barely break even, how do I overcome this???

Try not to give birth while you do it.

squat barefoot

train glutes and abs

switch to low bar squats. if you for some reason want to be a dyel and stick to high bar, then fix your ankle flexibility and possibly buy weightlifting shoes.

shit advice to be honest

Either lift less, get better technique, or squat with two dumbbells or one as a sumo squat instead.

Otherwise, always go deep and get your back straight.

>Either lift less,
falling back isn't a weight issue
>get better technique,
that's not saying shit
>or squat with two dumbbells or one as a sumo squat instead.
what the fuck
>Otherwise, always go deep and get your back straight.
not really saying anything either

people like you shouldn't be giving out advice.

>falling back isn't a weight issue
It is if you're a weak cunt falling over.
>that's not saying shit
It's saying don't fall over.
>what the fuck
Hold two heavy dumbbells, bend your legs, lower your back and the stand up straight. Are you fucking retarded?
>not really saying anything either
>people like you shouldn't be giving out advice.
I said shut the fuck up and lift better, how about that?

>It is if you're a weak cunt falling over.
it's not the causation, so it's shit advice
>It's saying don't fall over.
>"don't do the mistake you are doing"
do you really not see how this is shit advice?
>Hold two heavy dumbbells, bend your legs, lower your back and the stand up straight. Are you fucking retarded?
i understand what you mean, but doing goblin squats is not going to fix balance issues, and no.
>I said shut the fuck up and lift better, how about that?
well you're retarded and don't know shit so don't spread misinformation and educate yourself instead.

Had same issue. Bought weightlifting shoes. Stopped having issue. It's a hip/ankle flexibility thing.

Fix form. Might also be using wrong cues. High bar or low bar?

High bar = start at the KNEES. Sit DOWN
Low bar = start at the HIPS. Sit BACK

Slav training?

>bought weightlifting shoes
>felt great
>after a few weeks knees are feeling weird
and now my knees constantly feel tired and pop. sometimes painful too.
was squatting without pain for 2 years prior

This
Started doing theese just a week ago and i squatt much better, my knee feels much better

Watch this all the way through. I wish I never listened to all of the dumbshit advice on here about squats outside of this video. Watch it, learn it, improve.

>Need to squat with plates under your heels.
>Thinking it's anything other than shortened achilles tendons.
That's the cause in 90% of cases. Do achilles stretches, every morning and evening for at least 5 minutes.

Hip.
Dhrave.

If your femur is > 26% of your height, you should widen your stance

are you using running shoes? Get some fake Chucks to lift in.

Your calves lack the flexibility to perform the squat. That's why putting the plates underneath your ankles helps.
