Current:
>Upper/lower body split
>3x per week
>5x5 compound

I have to shorten now the workouts in frequency and length. So I have been thinking about

or

>Upper/lower body split

>3x8

Basically more weight/less reps vs less weight/more reps.
What do you recommend?

Splitting like this isn't bad for beginners, but the amount of exercises make it more for advances lifters.
