Lifting alone will make little progress, gotta track what you eat as well to make significant progress.

Find what your TDEE is by googling "TDEE calculator" and then cut 300-500 calories to know how many calories you should be consuming a day.

I don't know what eca is but when I started dieting(before i started working out) I lost about 1-2lb per week. I think I ate a 400ish deficit and cycled for ~hour every other day

Well first off, your TDEE ain't 3500. It's about 2600. Metabolism gets more efficient the lower your weight is, so you need to recalculate your TDEE every 20 pounds or so.

As long as you eat 60% or higher of your TDEE, you'll be fine.

A water-filter won't do shit if it's really bad like Flint's is. Otherwise it's moreover for flavor. Tap water usually has minerals in it that taste off.

Yeah so your TDEE is certainly not 3500 unless you are doing tonnes of cardio a day.

Your TDEE Is probably about 2,200 or so. Stick to 1,500cals and you'll drop weight fine. It isn't dangerous.

I probably about a 5-6/10 in terms of flexibility so I wonder if incorporating yoga is a good idea to help with my lifts

When no one can see your pecs and shit cause you have clothes on they won't see what they think is muscle, making your tones as shit bod not very effective

Mine wasnt that bad so it cost like $5000 dollars out of pocket cause I don't have insurance, they examined it, put it back in its place, gave me an x-ray and then have me the boot. Is there anyway I can maintain muscle through weight loss or do I need to lose the fat first then work on muscle? Also with that would supplementing workouts with protein be a bad idea with weight loss?

generally, low deficits (300-500calories less than TDEE) preserve almost all of your muscle mass

depending on how obese you are, i'd suggest something like a 700 deficit

Honestly, I got started in June with cutting out the easy stuff. I don't eat sweets or sugary food anymore. All I drink is water and the occasional zero ultra meme. I was just over 400lbs in May and I am down to 376lbs today just from doing above. I have been eating less than I used to for sure(could down to Little Caesars pizzas by myself). I am actually working on try a 1000 calorie deficit. I know its really aggressive, but man, its fuckin hard and depressing being fat. I hate when I have to do things a weird way just cuz I am out of shape and can't fit for things. Kills confidence and moral all day. I am happy for the bit I have lost but I have so much more to go. I just want it gone and appreciate that there are no shortcuts. I am a little afraid of loose skin but so far I haven't seen any. I want to be happy about me and I think I may make it. If I can get down to 360lbs by at least december, I think I can ride the momentum home. I love Veeky Forums for helping me so far and all those /fph/ threads make me realize what I am.

IF you're looking for 100+ pound weight loss, you don't have muscle worth maintaining. Eat an 1000 calorie deficit, lose 2 pounds a week, make sure you're eating at-least 60% of your daily TDEE.

Recalculate TDEE every 20 lbs.

Personal experience. Just EC, no A needed or wanted. Energy boost, little fidgety but not grindy. Appetite reduction. Weight loss per deficit, perhaps a couple % more. Safe unless you have heart condition, in which case you might die. Side effects: sweat like a slave on the auction block when lifting.

A lot of strongmen, powerlifters and climbers like to fuck with sand.
