ah so like pauses off the ground? makes sense. i see you added planks as well which is a good idea for drilling. Maybe add in that george leeman bracing exercise. the one where you lay on your back and put a kettlebell on on your stomach and let it sink and push it out.
also just make sure to tell them about pulling the slack out of the bar. i see too many novices "set up" and then immediately lose position when they put any tension on the bar.
