I think what I did was I knew that I was 5'9 and I wanted to figure out how much that was in cms , google said I was 179 cm and I assumed I made a mistake in measuring my height . So I had to measure myself again to be sure

that's just because the imperial system is retareded. Measuring things in feet is more appropriate for basic height, but the inches system makes no sense.
