I need to cut for swimming, curious about how much muscle I will lose once I'm at low bodyfat and how much my lifts will drop by. Is there a good routine for maintaining strength out there (I'm fairly new although I have been lifting for a several years now)
Yeah, there are different routines for each lift that are great while cutting and trying to maintain strength. From my experience I think the best are:
Squat - Smolov
Bench - Smolov Jr.
Deadlift Mag/Ort
If you combine all 3 and stay at a moderate deficit you should be able to maintain almost all of your strength.

I was gonna be a fat 105 at my comp but i want to keep making increases on my lifts and not stall so i have committed to just keep getting fat, gonna be a 120

I think I fixed my DL form and started lifting in lmao not heels.
Was able to pull 330 x 7 and it felt relatively easy where as a few weeks ago 305x3 felt like RPE 9.5.
It could also be the fatigue dissapation now that I'm resting from sheiko. This was beltless too, so with a belt I think I can confidently pull 4pl8 next time I try to max out.
Gonna try some sumo in a few days since I'm just trying Gnuckols 2x Beginner DL for a week or two before I hop on C6W. Pretty happy since deadlifts never felt this smooth.

I'm gonna give it a go. I'm not running this long time, just for a week or two. I want to see if my issues with sumo were just a result of
1. Pulling in AdiPowers
2. Not trying hard enough
So getting in some practice with sumo would most likely benefit me.
I've ran it too and I honestly think it helps, even though I've always been pissweak at sumo.

I'm doing it with sumo main lift, stiff legs for opposite stance.
I haven't ever pulled conventional seriously (I got to 2 plates on it after like a month and then switched to sumo), and I've had no trouble making progress. Great conventional pullers have probably never/rarely pulled sumo
At an early intermediate level, it's all just strength.
Meet is next saturday, I want 200-205 for squat and 230+ on deathlift, I lift in the afternoon which is pretty comfy so I'll just weigh in whatever I do after a big brekkie.
Only negative thing is my bench being completely ??? atm.
I'm also kind of excited to be done with meet prep so I can work with some good volume, get some more swole going, etc etc.

Personally I think it benefits as like a recovery thing.
I mean, it's nice to pull like 140kg sumo for a couple of easy 6es on friday after pulling 190kg for reps on monday.

Im really excited to get my competition "out of the way" so that I can give my spine a break, do some bodybuilding. Dunno if I will lose weight until I graduate uni, but I definitely want to focus less on competition movement and think more about holistic / healthy(healthier) strength, i guess.

I was doing (what felt like) a huge amount of volume up until this pre meet week when I dropped to about 2/3rd volumes. Next week I'm doing openers tuesday and maybe some warming ups on friday when I get to da venue.
I bet a long taper only helps super stronk lifters.

CYC has retired because of a knee injury and has dropped 50 kgs in 20 weeks.
He's been rehabbing for one and a half year and can't be fucked to keep trying, as it hasn't improved at all. His knee is destroyed, he'll get surgery, maybe before Christmas. Currently preparing to take the helm of the family company, and hopes to live the rest of his life with a functioning knee. He originally planned to keep competing for a few more years, but alas.
